neh.. its just a more compact version with 2 compartments. the previous one was made for ppl that traveled alot, with alot of big compartments. that's why it looked bigger. no probs mate tongue.gif

Shot a threatening email to my SA regarding the lack of tracking order status on the Dell tracking page. Yes, to the point that I will cancel the order if it is not reflected on the Status page by the end of the working day today. I don't tolerate delays or untimelyness, and 3 days stuck at Acknowledgement phase is more than what I can tolerate.

Cited the whole "8-days from order to shipping" order I made through Alienware UK, shipping straight to my hands 4 days later. If tolerating delays are a norm with Dell/Alienware around these parts, then they don't deserve my money. Time to show who is the boss, instead of being at their mercy.

here's the reply i got from my customer care consultant:

QUOTE
The Alienware is still at production and may have it at any of these stages: parts assembly; building; and testing which will take about 3-4 working days to fulfill the whole production process. Anyway, I will keep my eyes on this status and update you once it is built and transited to forwarder for next delivery arrangement.

Yes. As the online system is a bit slow for updates automated from production in which will route through so many stages before reaching portal for customer’s acknowledgment, or sometimes might have server issue which creates unwanted obstruction for such updates. Anyway, my checking in system manually/ upfront will be the fastest and latest for you.

looks like checking via the consultant (email/phone) is much more reliable than the online tracking page. i am receiving daily updates on my order status as per my request. smile.gif

Hence my "threat" in the email. If they dont even make an effort to tell me at what stage my order is, how am I supposed to keep track of its arrival, or why is the order status link is there on the first place? Due to my current circumstances, I dont have the luxury of calling, and if I let them off the hook on their own device, they'll go about my order at their own pace. Malaysian attitude and their constant need of prodding and all.

again....i do hope i can get helps from you all. I know you all are as eager as me to have the m11x and have no reason to help me by sacrificing your 1 week earlier gaming time.

for me, the 1 week difference will make me an alien or a commoner outside =(

pls. pls. i do hope any of you may consider this offer. I need an EDD b4 21st of Feb which is impossible for now.

even for us, those who had made the order is unsure of the EDD. some of us did get an EDD earlier than 21st but it might be delayed due to some unforeseen circumstances.

hence, its unlikely that we're able to help, bro. sorry. sad.gif

C2D era is almost ended, my friend.
upgrade to at least Q9100 or directly to the max, QX9300.

if CPU runs your budget short, decreace the duration of warranty to 1 year only since it can be upgrade in future.
remember, CPU cannot be upgrade under warranty of Dell if thats what you have in mind.

your HDD is bit low, but is not a problem smile.gif

the rest if perfect already.
