well, dell have something call internal price. note: not dealer price nor employee price.

its the base price to sell products among dell branches. they normally use it to channel products from other states to fulfill the demands. etc. perlis have extra xps 16, they sell 30 xps 16 to KL because KL branch is short of xps 16. (this is only example) but VERY high admins can use the internal price for promotional usage and personal usage.

same goes to the GPU switch, wat if u playing crysis and u switch to integrated GPU, wat will happen? (quite interesting to me)

for all notebooks that need to customize, they will only built it if there is order, so you will still need to wait UNLESS they have ready stock which you cant customize. good example will be xps series and vaio.

you may not need to wait that long but you still need to wait XD (no CNY by then)

well for now i think 7200 rpm is good enuf, not that we will grow mushroom on our head while waiting apps to open. maybe after 1-2 years only we buy SDD. same goes to 8g ram. rm2k is just insane =.= i can get another laptop for that price XD

the waiting game wont end if you always want the best. now u wait for rubber coating (lets say its april) den by that time AW rep will say there will be an official refresh for i5/i7 ulv in 2 months. when theres i5/i7, there will be m13x......and the waiting game wont end......

dackson. envy 15 can burn your finger in less than 10 mins of gaming. AW, u r paying for the technologies. what makes you think that AW cost that much from the other laptops? its not only the alienhead design but the technology also. same goes to mac book and vaio.

nothing comes as branded without any reason.

maybe NBR forum can enlighten you. hp envy 15 murdered voodooPC's reputation. envy 15 is NOT THIN (m11x is not thin too), its 2.4kg, it has heat problem even web browsing and typing documents. (not to mention you need to play games in refrigerator)

If building a laptop is all about specs, why dun those companies put quadcore and crossfire/SLI in a 10" netbook? HP envy chunked a high end CPU and GPU in it but too bad, it didnt work out.

i bliv that if AW engineers had tried their best to keep the performance and lifespan in m11x. its due to technology limitation, they will put extra battery, quadcore, crossfire when they figured out how to do it.

one day in the future, we can play crysis in ipod.
