Hi bro, just want to know more. for S95, although good in low light, but do we need a tripod to get a sharp photo at low light?
My intention is to upgrade to camera that can shoot nice photo at night time whether indoor or outdoor without the need for tripod.
thus i highly doubt S95 can do the job?
Do you think Sony NEX3 or NEX5 can do the job well? with a built stabilizer lens 18-55? Or should better get an entry level DSLR like Canon 1000D or Sony A290 instead to be sure?

ur budget only allows 1000D or 2nd hand 500D, lol

previously b4 D3100 came out, between Nikon D3000 n Canon 1000D,
i would recommend 1000D
but now with D3100, it surpasses 1000D in many aspect since 1000D is few years old tech

Save up and get a better one. My friend using 1000D with EF-S 17-55mm Hidden L lens also started to piss about the 1000D, yes it's an entry level one, but get out of focus easily. The AF system itself not too good. IMO.

I don't think I'll be using the recorder that much as I already have the Sony camcoder. But I thought new set (body + 18-55 lens) only MYR2500?
