Well this season, in and out for vidic. But same goes to brown, and van der sar. You see them getting injury back after recovering. Not very serious one tho. Gary neville too.

I thinking of getting a jersey with vidic/evra nameset. tongue.gif

Vidic did not hv a good pre-season. He missed the Asia tour actually because of injuries. But when he is fit, he is always massive for us.

The first and second season Vidic with United, he was very joyful to watch. Eyes of Tigers, tackling ball like nobody business.

rooney was good in left wing, but then again he's good anywhere (even in defense).

the problem is he's a striker and has so much more potential playing as a striker.

Players of the Decade: #8

QUOTE
Gary Neville’s contribution to the decade may not have been as spectacular as that of some other players, but it was no less vital.

The ultra-reliable right-back has been there since the Reds’ very first match of the noughties against Necaxa in the World Club Championship.

He became United's first ever local-born club captain after Roy Keane's surprise departure in 2005, a natural choice given Nev's prominent leadership skills and no-nonsense attitude. Even at 34 he still motors up and down the touchline supporting the attack as if he was still in his mid-twenties.

He's won five league titles this decade, only missing out on a sixth in 2007/08 because of an injury that curtailed his entire campaign. His efforts earned him a place in the PFA Team of the Year in both 2005 and 2007.

Gary has played over 350 times since 2000, and was first choice for England long into the decade. His contribution and commitment to the United cause cannot be overestimated.

Former ‘Busby Babe’ Scanlon dies aged 74

LONDON, Dec 23 — Former Manchester United winger Albert Scanlon, one of the "Busby Babes" who survived the 1958 Munich air disaster that killed eight team mates, has died at the age of 74.

Manchester United paid tribute on their website (www.manutd.com) to a player who made his debut at the age of 19 for Matt Busby's first team in 1954 after coming through the United youth system.

Scanlon won two titles as an outside forward in 1956 and 1957 and was on the flight from Belgrade to Manchester that crashed after a refuelling stop in Munich following a European Cup match in February 1958.

Fifteen passengers and crew were also killed in the disaster.

Scanlon stayed with United after recovering from his injuries, making 127 senior appearances and scoring 35 goals. He moved to Newcastle United in 1960 and
