i think messi might leave barcelona 1 day (coz he is just too young, and still too long to go), while xavi and iniesta seems more likely to retired there.....

QUOTE(ahbenggay @ Dec 22 2009, 08:11 PM) with barcelona's current record plus Real madrid's record of destroying a player's future in Madrid i dont think any barcelona player will be tempted for a switch.Added on December 22, 2009, 8:57 pm QUOTE(aztechx @ Dec 22 2009, 09:34 PM) i already gave up watching any football tv show on Astro. Shebby Singh and Steve McMahon(is this the botak fat guy?) always say bad things about us. Shebby with his dream for spurs to enter top four. What did he say this time?? QUOTE(kurtkantoi @ Dec 22 2009, 09:17 PM) Saw this manutd.com: Players of the Decade: #10![]() any prediction? mine will be giggs..ferdinand...neville...keane...solskjaer...ronaldo...rooney...RVN...vidic...evra...VDS QUOTE Nearly four years into his Old Trafford career, Patrice Evra has blossomed into one of the world’s leading left-backs. The archetypal modern full-back blends grace with grit and Patrice is certainly as strong going forward as he is defending. Blessed with abundant energy and aerial ability that belies his short stature, he also has the necessary skill and pace to beat his marker and his darting runs down the wing add an extra dimension to the Reds attacks. It's not just United fans who think he's top, either: his performances earned him a place in the PFA's Team of the Year in both 2007 and 2009. Patrice’s time at OT has been littered with trophies already – nine in total, including the Champions League – but he speaks ceaselessly of the desire to win more. A firm favourite among the United faithful, the charismatic Frenchman is fiercely proud to play for United and is openly fascinated by the club's rich history. Here's to Patrice sticking around well into the new decade. QUOTE Patrice Evra Position: Defender Signed: 10 Jan 2006 Appearances during decade: 170 Goals during decade: 2 Club World Cup: 2008 Champions League: 2007/08 Premier League: 2006/07, 2007/08, 2008/09 League Cup: 2005/06, 2008/09 Community Shield: 2007, 2008 http://www.manutd.com/default.sps?pagegid=...&newsid=6644273 Players of the Decade: #9 QUOTE Edwin van der Sar's arrival in July 2005 ended United's six-year search for a long-term successor to Peter Schmeichel. Many guardians of United's net tried and failed to hold on to the position. Even a World Cup-winning number one, Fabien Barthez, didn't hang around for the long haul. Van der Sar's formidable presence - especially behind the Ferdinand-Vidic pairing - helped to re-establish United as the kings of English football in the second half of the decade, gleaning three consecutive league titles. Edwin was also instrumental as the Reds won the European Cup in 2008 - who could ever forget his penalty save from Nicolas Anelka, and his joyous roar in the Moscow rain? Edwin's greatest feat - and the one which best demonstrates his powers - came in 2008/09, when he didn't concede for a record 14 league games in a row, from November to March. For 1,311 minutes he was what all keepers dream of being - simply unbeatable. QUOTE Edwin van der Sar Position: Goalkeeper Appearances in the decade: 198* Signed: 1 June 2005 Club World Cup: 2008 Champions League: 2007/08 Premier League: 2006/07, 2007/08, 2008/09 League Cup: 2005/06 Community Shield: 2007, 2008 *Correct at publishing date, 22/12/2009 http://www.manutd.com/default.sps?pagegid=...&newsid=6644333 |

Players of the Decade ?
hmm, tough one. even though i dont really have an official list to put out here. sad. so evra made it into the list with 10th place and van der sar on 9th. fair enough i say. next is ferdinand and vidic. or would it be gary neville and west brown ? nah, i got no clue how the list will be argh, there's so many players that can make it to the list, question is, how best they were and will they make it to the list ? me want to see rooney and scholes in one of the top 5 at least giggs would have to be one of the top 3. wouldnt suprise me if he was 1st place. respect! will ronaldo make it to the list ? personally i think he should. 2nd or 3rd place ? |

QUOTE(air_mood @ Dec 22 2009, 07:01 PM) That 3 men midfield will get killed though. Who the feck is going to hodl the midfield in that. And Terry should be nowhere near that team on the basis of last season's form. However, Big Man always makes it irregardless. Kaka ahead of Iniesta in the FIFA standings yet Iniesta gets in the Team Selection. Well deservedly as well. Kaka should be nowhere near. dude, flight aku esok. tiket stadium tour semua dah settle...cuma nak pergi je...Patrice Evra, the epitome of coolness and without question, the best left back in the world. tapi suhu sejuk sangat laa plak.... back to topic: wow, 2 of our players there.... if not 3 5 from BPL... not bad |

QUOTE(boxsystem @ Dec 22 2009, 01:18 PM) Casillas; Dani Alves, Evra, Terry, Vidic; Xavi, Iniesta, Gerrard; Ronaldo, Messi, Torres <-- a lineup like this on their day can kill opponents like nobody biz .. fuhhh I don't understand what made Gerard deserve to be in the list. It is understandable Iniesta and Xavi in the list but Gerard? You kidding me or what?? |
