QUOTE(MyDevil @ Dec 13 2009, 11:30 AM) Didn't watch the game but I am surprised to see Rooney alone upfront. We are at home leh. Nani didn't even make it to the bench. His future is sealed then. 4-5-2 actually is 4-3-3 with park and valencia occupy the wings ... Added on December 13, 2009, 11:52 amQUOTE(scofield @ Dec 13 2009, 11:42 AM) this is all Valencia's fault..when the hell is he gonna start to shoot with his left foot??!! he missed few bloody chances to score.. y don't blame fletcher ? full backs should prevent any curling in to the box ... I wanted to see a 4-4-2 actually. I thought park would be subbed in second half instead of giggs btw.

we need to get a coach that specializes corner. With the amount of threat we can create, we are actually forcing into a lot of corners. None of them was fully used IMO. Get a dam coach from a lower table club to train them

QUOTE(scofield @ Dec 13 2009, 01:14 PM) uuhh, fletcher is not a proper full back to begin with.. for me, Brown should have taken the right back and Da Laet should go into the CB. Its understandable that fletcher sucked that his right back position, but the goal was totally his fault because he was beaten by Ashley Young. Was it Young's pace? I dont know. But i really think Fletcher should drop back into his CM position. We were fine with fletcher at RB because there wasnt much threat from flanks. Aston Villa showed us how weak is Fletcher at RB with Young and Agbonlahor's pace.

Win Man Utd = Champion >.>. i guess every team has actually exploited our weakness. If u think u cant score against united, park the bus in front of the goal. If u scored and wants to keep the lead against united, park the bus in front of goal. This actually works on us mainly because we dont have good shooters. Scholes and Gibson wasnt playing, therefore making it even easier to block all the shots.

I wouldnt blame Brown for that. It wasnt a stand in position head in. He was rushing himself in front of goal with his head facing upfront like a bull ready to bang someone. U wan brown to pull him down and kena penalty?

Not bashing Brown or anything but I agree with scofield. Brown somehow just left Agbonlahor unmarked inside the penalty box hence the free header goal after he went past Brown from his back. Dissapointed result after Chelsea's slip up. As usual, we will have to buck up & bounce back against Wolves who got a surprise win @ White Hart Lane yesterday. Agbonlahor's goal i think Brown slightly out of position We can see that during that cross,Vidic one person defend against Heskey and Agbonlahor

we have to remember, both of our cb was not fit. we can saw they struggle a little when facing crossing and force to do silly error as well.

QUOTE(IcyDarling @ Dec 13 2009, 12:30 PM) wolves game is what game? Why midweek ar? Its December. Get used to it Brown was partly to blame becoz he got sucked into trying to help out Fletcher that he was so far away from Agbonlahor when the cross was whipped in. Fletcher got skinned by Young on that occasion when he allowed him to hit in an in-swinger, and with PIG being so poor at commanding the box from aerial threats it was always going to be something Villa were going to exploit. The technique leading to the shot where Rooney hit the bar was fantastic, and we actually played better in the first half when he was up top alone with help from Giggs. When Owen and Berba came on and Rooney was shifted left we looked like we were never going to score bar a few efforts from long range. Chance to put things right as soon as Tuesday though.

couldn't capitalize on chelsea's draw but none the less, it was football at it's best for the full 93 minutes. credits to Aston Villa for winning the game. their defense was solid as hell. too many bodies at their own half was always going to be hard. we created so many chances but couldn't convert them....sighh.... lets hope we bounce back good on mid week.
