i cant remember when's the last time we are stretch so badly defensively..almost all our defenders are out..hopefully vidic could be back for wolfsberg match as there a chance we might miss the knockout stage..a draw would be enough..if we lose without scoring a goal and if cska win by 4 goals without reply, then we can join pool at europa league..correct me if i'm wrong..i'm writing this based on the tables shown in soccernet..

We already gone through to the knockout round. If we lose and CSKA win, the will look at head to head result which we won and draw against CSKA so even we lose 10-0 and cska won 10-0 we still qualify.

BTW, good result yesterday now we are only 2 points below them.

aahh..i thought goal difference comes first before head to head result..

QUOTE(IcyDarling @ Dec 13 2009, 12:18 PM)
for me, Brown should have taken the right back and Da Laet should go into the CB. Its understandable that fletcher sucked that his right back position, but the goal was totally his fault because he was beaten by Ashley Young. Was it Young's pace? I dont know. But i really think Fletcher should drop back into his CM position. We were fine with fletcher at RB because there wasnt much threat from flanks. Aston Villa showed us how weak is Fletcher at RB with Young and Agbonlahor's pace.
*
partly brown's fault as he didnt mark agbonlahor..i think fletcher did pretty OK marking ashley young except that one cross lead to the goal..

this news started from NOTW, which pretty much well known for their rumours mongering abilities. I heard this same news last summer. But it died down very soon right after. Now it's resurface again. Aint sure how reliable wud this be. But to answer the Q of IcyDarling if the 1b pound will wipe out all debts, the answer will be a definite YES.
Ski was in debt before the russian moves in. If the chinese were to come in with that 1b, we might just be the richest club in the world, debt-free. but then again, dun count on it. the higher the hope is, the harder u fall.
*
If it would clear the debt which i doubt so, then YES..BUT..we might turn out to be like chelsea where the team selection and transfer are control by the owner..in another word, SAF lose his control of the team..its a BIG NO NO..i think David Gill and SAF knows this better..

I second your lineup.. if another defender is fit maybe we can rest Evra..
and I rike your avatar and siggy
*
i doubt we can rest evra..having 3 (if De Laet is selected) not fully match fit is bad enough..maybe IF we could kill of the game before half time then i can see SAF bringing in another defender to replace evra..

Silva would be a good addition but our midfield is too packed to begin with..how are we going to fit him into our system?..as for strikers, it never hurts to have 4 strikers in a team but i doubt those name mention wouldnt mind being on the bench more often than playing..so i guess, IF SAF were to spend next month, it would be on the defensive part of the team..i cant see SAF buying any midfielder or striker..

FFFUUU..almost got my lineup prediction right! We still looks nervy at the back..i'm guessing second half's tempo would be slow since we got 2 goals already..

cant blame carrick though..playing 3-5-2 is a suicide tactic..it might work against wolfsburg but not this time..i guess fulham already studied the video of us against wolfsburg..midfield engine is totally shut off today..no chances created for the striker..i guess rather than worried bout our defence, we should be worried of our attackers..our attacking department have been a roller coaster form this season..score for a few games then suddenly lost their shooting boots..if we cant sort this out, then even with all our defenders are fully fit, it would still be hard for us to win..

ok we lost 5 already this season compare to 4 for the whole season last year..BUT, the league is much much open now compare to last season..spurs and villa looks capable to upset the big four so losing 5 games already this season doesnt mean its the end for us..anything can still happens till May..but i wouldnt take this statistic lightly..we need to sort our problem ASAP..

We need new owner. The Glazer is good but they are not as rich as Abrahamovich and Khaleed. They already say Abrahamovich invest at Chelsea is nothing compare to what they gonna do there  sweat.gif

When the Bangkok Consortium take over then SAF will have all money in the world and buy the best in the world that available. Ribery, Kun, Akinfeev etc  icon_idea.gif
*
New owner? seriously? money dont buy you success..you can have all the money in the world, buy superstars players..you still cant win shit..although glazer brought us a huge debt, at least they are not interfering the team management..god know what would happen if the Bangkok Consortium takes over..SAF might even get sack after 2 loses in a row..
