hmnn i feed ghost shrimps every once in a while
what size is your aro again ar? one thing you need to take note of when feeding ghost shrimps ...actually any type of prawn or shrimp for the matter.... is that they all got this razor horn thingy sticking outta their head... when i feed the ghost shrimps i will use my nail to break off as much of the horn as possible...without breaking or squashing their eyes as well =.=" Once i break then i will hold them by the long feelers and let the aro chomp em down lol....that way the aro doesnt go zig zagging madly around trying to get the shrimp ....and therefore less accidents happen that way too |

haha thx bro saif
will see la....cuz now my aro is oledy about 10 inches with some orangish already spreading around the cheeks....the rims oledy showing fadishly i'll just experiment a bit and see loe, if its feeling stress then i will put on top of aquarium instead of side to give it a bit more natural sunlight feel lol...and also i only follow natural daytime sunshine 12pm-6pm then close d i dun believe in tanning 24/7 all that as for pumping, my aro's main diet is mp mp stuffed with tetra and hikari pellets if i feel a bit pocket money to spare and extra rajin i will even soak the cut mp stuffed with tetra hikari in azoo vita solution then hold it 1cm above water with chopstick and let the aro chomp it straight down.....all the nutrients intact lol that shud be more than enuf to pump it guah lol lol |

haha i just hope that the acadia uv tanning for red is as it is stated and not something else....as in i hope it really just mimics the sunlight and not some bizzare uv shooting spree blinding me and my aro hahaha
cuz i read up some of the uv science stuff and too hard to understand all the uva and uvb amounts and all.... hehe nola...i free on weekends will do this kinda stuff loe thats just how occupy my time on boring weekends with this cool hobby ma otherwise i will be out watching movie or fishing prawns for the aro hahaha....can't get any fresher than getting it fished from a pond huh LOL @bensow for sw ar just make sure the food your put in is as dry as possible.... bro bear is right wan...if you want to keep mass quantity, best to keep them in tray to spread em out for more oxygen and allow the heat to get carried away too....if kept in a bucket they are over and on top of each other buried under each other all the heat and less oxygen will kill them... easiest food to feed them is to buy those 'SA pellet food' really cheap cheap wan for guppies to eat....just shake the tiny pellets down like salt for them to eat lol This post has been edited by leong2084: Jul 3 2010, 10:20 AM |
