errr..its better u ask ur frens who has a bb or iphone to install d app. den u can sms dem for free rather than adding unknown ppl. as u can see, this app is similar to SMS function on ur fone.

but i have to say this app is superb and its popularity is fast catchin up among BB/iphone users in Msia.

I have some probem when I am on Wifi at home. When 3G is on, the push came thru instantly. But when I am on Wifi at home, 90% of the time the push does not go thru and I can't get the WhatsApp message.

The strange thing I noticed is that, if the push notification came thru wifi, then that whole period is working very good. When I can't get the push, then I won't get a single message notification for the whole day.

Do you guys know what is wrong with my home wifi? Is it the router setup issue or streamyx problem?

i had the same problem. i had to reinstall the app and now its fixed. try it

may i know when using whatsapp adding people phone number will it charge me and i never get the 3 number to add ??

it came out free at 1st, for a couple of months or so. I got it free during that period.

i have a problem why some of my friend name will appear in favorite but some dont have name and just a phone number although he is in my contact~~

Have you tried reinstalling it? Or maybe refresh favourites in the "Settings" tab.

reinstall ? just 1 contact got problem.. others ok~~ refresh favorite still same~~

i got it free oso wen it came out and was not dat popular.

Kik is ok but its almost like Ping which requires a nickname. whatsapp i feel is much more convenient coz it auto adds d users number into d app witout searchin. n its associated with a universal fone number.

Got a problem here,I got few friends in my contact which whapps won't recognize it and add to list auto,they confirm install and my name was in there favorite list and can msg me but my list don't have them what to do?

I don't get this. Once both party had approved, it will then automatically display in contact list via whatsapp. Since friend of yours have you in their list, it is weird case for you.

Ok, both got each numbers... i'm in his list... but he not show up in my list... when he msg me... a number +60xxx xxxx show up.. i can msg him back... but he not in my list. Reinstall still the same. Btw i store his number straight 016xxxxxxx without country code.

have you tried adding his number as contact and restart the application?

You have to store his number with the country code +60 since ur friend have put his own number with the country code in front...

Is it? How to know if he put country code in front in his phone? can teach me how to erase the country code in his phone? thanks

I experience this with my mails... but whatsapp works fine.
