The difference with DV 230 and DX 230 are as stated as below :
The DV-230 comes with an external USB WiFi adaptor to enable connection sharing. Hence, an external WiFi router is not needed when using DV-230. In addition, the DV-230 is voice ready. The DX-230 comes with an integrated WiFi that supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n standards. The DX-230 also has two LAN ports as well as two voice ports. Overall, DX-230 provides better WiFi performance at your home or office and supports more connectivity choices via the additional LAN and Voice ports.

Existing P1 W1MAX customers with the DS-300/DV-230 can upgrade to DX-230 by purchasing a new unit at RM399 at the P1 P@ddock or P1TSTOP. The P1 P@ddock or P1TSTOP representative will transfer your service to the new DX-230 accordingly.

Firstly..you'll need to download DV230 CONFIGURATION GUIDE V1.3 from this link http://www.p1.com.my/support/support_techelp.aspx
After that you just need to follow the step on port forwarding.But you'll need to find the PORT no by yourself.

Package can only be downgrade if you have finish your contract.For your info ''24 months'' contract is not renewed.Its just for our system on downgrading.

P1 Speed are based on BEST EFFORT BASIS.HOME LITE and HOME PLUS speed is different.
HOME LITE:download-up to 400kbps upload-up to 150kbps
HOME PLUS:download-up to 1.2mbps upload-up to 500kbps

May i ask what is the problem with my area recently??? sad.gif i used to always get green lights, now i only get red lights!! and every time reach midnight, the connection disconnect and i have to wait for 1hours plus before it can reconnect back with red light also!!

You can try on below troubleshooting:

-turn off firewall
-go to system>hardware>device manager(wimax must have green tick)
-my computer(right click>manage>service>application>service(look for GP command and wimax service.both status must started)
*if not started-right click>properties(start up type change to manual)
-restart pc

Just for your info.transfer ownership is not allowed.If you are using Wiggy Prepaid u can use up all your usage and pass it to someone else provided that the person must be in coverage area.
He/She must also have the USERNAME and PASSWORD to login to prepaid.p1.com.my in order for user to top up and check usage.

Later that day, the laptop + wimax working perfectly. Two days later, the wimax stop connecting to the network. We've tested it everywhere including Kampung baru and Paddock PJ so my girlfriend give it to me, requesting me to handle this things. its later learnt that the network card was defective and needed replacement. It took 1 full month for Lenovo to replace it. Lenovo then told me to contact P1 to reactivate the account which now uses different MAC address.. Its been 1 week since my visit to P1Johor. Their hospitality was perfect but they seems to forgot about my case bcos untill today, it's still not working(still no connection). When i called Call Centre, SC tells me "P1tstop JB memang xde fon number encik.." i bet they're expecting me to bark at every f***in p1 tree until my 6 month promotional subscription is up.. i only wanted to remind the fellas bout my problem. i hate to keep rephrasing the story. we just wanted to have the service we was promised.
