Wow Bro...that is frikkin bad.... Saddens me to see such a thing happen to a Leo.

Here is what you need and I've done it and it works for me.

1. Saline water - gently flush the eye, squirt it lightly so that it will be able to open its eye.
2. Use gentamicin eye ointment, you can get it at any normal pharmacy. This ointment has antibiotics in it so it will help the recovery of your gecko eye. How you use it is once the eye is open (from running it through saline water). Apply the gentamicin eye ointment on the tip of a cotton bud and lightly rub it in the infected eye. Make sure the ointment is spread out evenly. Once applied, wipe excess ointment surrounding the eye.

I've done this once a day and sometime twice a day to help the recovery of my geckos. Amazingly from the minor cases to the major severe cases, the geckos undergo this treatment healed and recovered.

If your wereabouts are near where I am (I'm in subang), give me a call...I'll be more that happy to help you out.

Hope your gecko gets well bro... wish it well ...

RESPECT ATOK ...that setup is A class.... just one comment. Avoid super worms at this stage for them. Super worms (to me) are recommended only for adults.

hi ya'll quick question. IF the egg is inside the container and when it hatches, will the baby suffocate without air? Am worried cos i think one of my eggs will hatch soon. Not sweating yet, but i can see condensation on the box cover.

thanks!

I left a new hatch-ling in the box for more than 24 hours... Did ok.... and now she is all grown up and ovulating smile.gif

I'm going Super NOVA ! Lol...joking la....

Hmm... I do spend time handling ALL my geckos while I'm cleaning checking on their health especially the eyes, weight, finger and nails, tail, skin condition.... if i come across some really skittish one, I'll spend EVEN more time try to get them use to being handle... so all and all....each time I clean my gecko place....it will take easily about 6 hours.... sometimes I really take my time could be half a darn day.

I desmond...if u put torchlight then if come out ALBINO how ? they are sensitive to light neh ? But here is another thought.... imagine you the baby gecko...when u hatch and the first thing u see is bright light.... then you go blind.... sad neh? Why not carry it around, so when it hatch first thing it sees is PAPA !!!

Bika... Ya, In fact i am keeping my first 20+ geckos that hatch...LOL. My I do have my really really first one la... its a Normal Double Het for Tremper and Murphy Patternless.... I call her "Sepet" cuz the eyes really round and small...
