Well i got 1 obese leopard gecko too... REAL OBESE. I cut down her mealies to like one week one time i give her a bowl (Those small kicap bowl) about half full of mealies. Water every time much change la.... She did lost a little weight.. Another remedy is go on a vacation for 1 month... come back again and surely thin ur leo...Hahahha...

Atok : leopard gecko can "so called" exercise. Throw a couple of crix in the faunarium and surely you'll be able to see them run around chasing those crix. Another form of exercise is (mainly for the male) is sex. The male Leo can "really" exercise when u give him lotsa sex. Confirm fit dan kurus.... for me... exercise for my leos are just handling them...let them crawl around...exploring out of his faunarium (with supervision) or climbing all over me.... those are also forms of exercise.

biggrin.gif Cheers*

Looks like u got some eye issues there max...

1. Flush it (the infecteed eye) with saline water twice a day. Dont spray it to hard... just apply enough pressure to the bottle. Spray it like water gun style. This will help to clean their eyes and comfort them.
2. Wipe the eye dry with cotton bud.
3. Apply (once a day) "Gentamicin Ointment" on the infected eye. Squeeze a little gentamicin ointment onto the tip of a cotton bud then when u see the infected eye opens up..slightly bud the eye with the ointment and then rub gently to even it out.

This works for me and has been proven out with almost 6 geckos with eye issues.

Good Luck.

Last time I use to keep my gecko in my room.. and at night I switch the aircon to 16 degreeC...No problem also.

Im guessing this is due to the weather because I noticed after CNY the humidity a little too dry for them. They encounter the problem of shedding the "eyelid" skin and that caused them eye irritation and so they rub rub rub rub until bengkak and infected. Not a serious thing la if detected early...

I had one that practically almost scratched her whole eye ball out... was soring "blood-shot" red....after the treatment she managed to recover 100% within like 2 weeks. I would say Leopard Geckos do recover pretty fast. Come to think of it, they could practically generate a whole new tail what la if just some eye infection.. Tough little critters they are. smile.gif

Gentamicin got anti-biotic so it will help the gecko to have a speedy recovery.

Gosh - I do hope the geckos will recover.
