I can say that all geckos behave differently.... they all have their own personality... I have some which love the attention and some are just a little too shy, some are aggressive and even some that doesn't bother about anything that goes around...
No matter which kind of behavior your gecko has.... just make sure you handle them gently with lotsa care. ![]() |

QUOTE(Azazel @ Apr 2 2010, 12:32 PM) These are my first leo hatchlings for 2010. It took a while because: These are so cute.... I see most likely blizzards and snow blizzards.... Very nice...1. I miscalculated stocks between 2009 and 2010. Therefore I matched my animals later than I should have. 2. A couple more eggs before them was ruined simply because I didn't have much time to spend on monitoring them. Anyway, I don't really know what these are yet. ![]() But their basic morph is a blizzard. LOL! Enjoy! This post has been edited by echosmiles: Apr 2 2010, 05:35 PM |

QUOTE(h3r0 @ Apr 16 2010, 04:12 PM) You'll get either an SHTCT het Tremper Albino(if it hypos out) or a Tangerine het Tremper Albino. The tangerine color on the specimen could be intense due to the high build up of both parent polygenetic traits (the tangerine). Maybe something like this if it hypos out nicely...if not hypo then it would be just a Tangerine het Tremper Albino. ![]() Tangerine is the new gold yeah ?! QUOTE(blitzboy @ Apr 20 2010, 12:13 AM) So far, none that I have heard of, you can still live up to your claims. Picture 1 = Hi Yellow possible het for Murphy Patternless.Just out of curiousity, does taking care of knob-tails are similar to taking of leopard geckos in terms of set-up, food and temperature? Picture 2 = A lovely "Day and Night" Gecko aka. Murphy Patternless... what I meant "day and night"...lol...you will soon find out once he reached full morph so my suggestion is that you keep it. M. Patties are rare. Can't seem to see any around that is clean. It is also a key to produce Embers. By the way... knob tails are relatively easy to care once you get the technique right. It does requires a different set up and they do have different needs compared to Leos. I have not experience keeping knobs but am SURE i will one day. They are interesting and they look real awesome if you see them live. Pictures doesn't justify how amazing knobs are in real life. They don't come cheap due to the rarity of their availability here in our country... The Devil, i believe is working hard to produce some amazing specimens for grabs. I've been to the Devil's Lair...I've seen and played with the knobs....and they really WOW me away! Thumbs up for the Azazel. (I'm not sucking to him but.... my respect is towards the quality specimens he is producing with great care). - My favorites are the Neph. Amyae. Coming back to Leopard Geckos.... I'm expecting loads of geckos to hatch provided they dont go wrong (Banjir in my house)...Mainly I'm working on the Snows... expect Super Snows (The many kinds except for the Bell Dalmatian which only the Devils has...lol.). I'm expecting some cool Murphy Patternless and lucky some Tremper Muprhys... some enigmas from the sane to the insane kinds....lol and possible some bell sunglows. Can't wait for them to hatch. The rest of my projects are a little secret of my own. Got myself a new D90 and I'll be shooting away some cool pics once they are out. Sigh...as what we all hobbyist do well.... WE WAIT for the darn eggs to hatch..... End Note: CONGRATS Brother Blitzboy... you are an official daddy gecko now....muahahaa... |

QUOTE(blitzboy @ Apr 20 2010, 07:13 AM) I think what you mean by day and night is that the spots will disappear upon reaching its adult form, that's why it is call patternless. From Leopard Gecko Wiki....It will become like from light yellow to greyish color. Murphy Patternless Leopard Gecko (Johnson). Founded by Pat Murphy in 1991, the Murphy Patternless is a Leopard Gecko which lacks all pattern. As a hatchling, they will hatch with a lightly colored body with random tan, gray, or brown markings on the body. Close to the age of 10 months, the markings will have completely faded and the geckos body color will be between yellow all the way to a deep purple(and it can change the color according to their mood when adult...). Throughout the generations, breeders have been able to incorporate the Carrot Tail into the Murphy Patternless Leopard Geckos. Marcia McGuiness from Golden Gate Geckos has a beautiful group of Murphy Patternless Carrot Tails. I'm into their eyes now... look at these jewels... ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by echosmiles: Apr 20 2010, 02:48 PM |
