and darkvoice 337, littledot mk6+/balanced amps had a tough time powering and driving the bugger
need to borrow Gryphon Tabu speaker amp and Airtight Tube Preamp to reveal it's full potential

from the pic above the gryphon amp, there is a small transformer box for k1000
use it to connect to speakers output and from there connect to k1000

do a readup on K1000 at headfi with the speaker amps counterparts
apparently the Airtight and FirstWatt amps r known well to pair with the earspeakers

next week i will be back on Msia
and i m bringing my big guns HD800, Beyer Dt 880 stax recabled and some goodies
any1 interested in hearing the senheisser flagships drop me a pm and hopefully there will be a mini gathering for it
i would be interested if some1 actually bring an amp/dac preferbly a desktop so it can drive the HD800, DT 880 to certain level
for the cables, i will providing the Black Sand Statement powercord , Crystal Cables Ultra powercord and most probably the Crystal Cable Ultra Reference Series Rca interconnects

well i will bring my hd555 if some1 interested in trying...
that is one entry level headphones but it became my overall favourite lite time listening except the bigger HD800 and K1000 became my main guns need powerful amps and proper setup for those....
for the flagship cans, i would appreciate if someone bring at least a desktop amp/dac or separate dac with amp
something like audiogd Compass, Yulong Dac, LittleDot MK4, Darkvoice, or solid state amps with iec sockets something decent enough to drive the hd650 to certain level
source i will leave it to u guys but hopefully it is lossless or in WAV format or cds itself
alternatively hopefully can organize on someone's house where it's much quiet and much better listening location

im afraid that k1000 will have to stay at the time being
even Rsa apache, and balanced amps had hard time drove it at certain stage...
for hd800 yes, i BRINGING it back for friendly audition provided if the gathering is on...
btw, kindly dun put any hair gels or hair's cream on the gathering itself

if that the case then i will bring my preamp to boost the soundstage of yur amp
will be able to widen the horizons on yur amp and drive the hd800 to acceptable level

ok guys i believe the best time is on this coming Friday
some suggest Amcorp mall macdonald but i not sure there got power sockets or not
for Starbuck there definitely will have and depends on spacing and seats
and For A&W there well it will be holiday on that day and there will be some children running around screaming and so on...wont be suitable for auditing equipments and need keep away from those gatal gatal kid's hands... dont want them split out ice cream or milkshake ...cant bear the thought
i need to check with Eiraku whether it is suitable to organize on afternoon 2 pm onwards
for sources guys pls bring any portable dp with lossless or laptop with lossless files or cds
for any1 who bringing desktop dac/amps, i can supply with powercords, rcas to mini and rcas to rcas but i dun have coaxial or toslink cables
i will bringing my mobile preamp Audiotrak Dac3 for additional power to push the Dt880 and Hd800
may need a extra extension plugs but that i can take care of
