Using the DA11 as DAC and connecting it to sep90's Audiotrak inamp gives it a much warmer sound and some bass, which makes the HD800 much more pleasant to listen to.The HD800 really is very sensitive to the equipment used to drive it, one advice for anyone who wish to get it, make sure your source and amp are up to par Anyway in the gathering the headphone I like the most is akabane's vintage woody(ATH-W10VTG) as he mentioned, hd800 is very neutral and camoulflage to every equipments used to exploit it's soundsignature and if u spending bout Rm 6k to Rm 7k for this can...make sure yur equipments at least on same level with it as all audiophiles would agree, rubbish in rubbish out......the hd800 will show u the flaws of yur total setup |

somemore this year i think i may going to oversea to work....  ..bigger adventure and better new equipments to try... well beside than that, i think may need to pack my cans and some of my amps and send it back to malaysia for keepsake...others maybe offload... |

even 1 screw also cannot pay ler for that Wilson speaker ler.... if i struck Toto 1st grand prize and somemore in U.S. dollar then maybe can ...... Jadis amps, ClearAudio Statement TurnTable or Gryphon Mikado Signature Cdp , Emm Labs Dacs, Niagra CDP and dunno wat 5 to 6 figures high end rigs will be in my grasp..... stick back to reality 1st ... i keen in trying the Usher and Harbeth.....wan to know how is the sound signature 1st |
