QUOTE(porkchop @ Nov 30 2009, 02:54 PM) hmm hi guys just wanna do a colour check on your lcd...does the below random shot from the A550 colour looks ok? just neutral,... unless u wan to pump up the saturation. (maybe u can use photoshop and use auto-level, see the color diff with ur photo VS auto level one. if there are major diff, what diff, contrast or saturation.) IMHO i think the color a little flat or neutral.![]() |

ier, okie thanks for your input I somehow felt the colour kinda flat too...btw this is creative style(vivid +1 saturation + 1 sharpness) but DRO+level 2 only
i am still trying to find the 'right" colour setting mix on the A550 though..kinda hard.... |

porkchop: Looks okay.
Braynumb: Nice #3! Have fun with the A700! hkhk: Glad to hear. You will know pixel mapping is happening when you turn on your camera on the 1st of December and find that it takes longer to start. hanafinoor: I think you know better than DCM (though the Tamron 90mm is good.) |

Added on November 30, 2009, 6:30 pmlightning69: depends on ur pocket, ur preference, if u like sigma, go head, if u like tamron, go head, tamron sp90 are well known for thier money value and good performance. there are better performance marco out there, but they usually cost a Lot more. not matter of how good is sp90, but the value justified it. i would give a bet that more then 60% of marco user out there uses sp90, go check out blog of marcography, a lot of them use sp90, no matter is sony, canon or nikon users. Again I bet this doesn't happen for A200.. Lasttime when i found there is hotpixel, i spend hours tried to modify the date several time, hoping for pixel mapping to happens but sadly it never happens. In the end I give up.. porkchop: DRO tends to lower overall contrast. So if you want contrast turn off DRO.
millenia3000: Nice one! Eh, I thought you bought a 28-75mm? |
