I can imagine. Sling type some more. Even using the backpack is painful enough already. Now got reason to buy netbooks. Then again better to invest in good lens right? laugh.gif
*
yea..maybe i'd change to macbook air (hopefully they come out with new one) on my next upgrade..lol...since i probably wouldnt invest on my lens/camera for a short while..

thats a wedding shot using natural lighting from the door..i dont think u need that if u r in the studio right?

to me..physically tired isnt really a big issue..but i usually get tired mentally when i always to have crack my head about what to shoot...how to compose it better...or anticipate some special moment during the event..rather than take up the camera and shoot like a machine gun blindly....

wow, physical stamina is so important. i need to do more exercise to prepare for this day smile.gif normally, in each event wedding shooting, u will have idea before u go there what u expected to shoot (those compositions) or the idea come later...

Added on December 18, 2009, 6:21 pm

of course everyone also want every shutter click can snap nice photo. but in wedding event, is hard to control leh. eg: during "khang teh" -chinese wedding, they not stop the moment to let you shoot  sweat.gif machine gun method some time need to use  laugh.gif
*
u always had ideas about what to shoot b4 u go..but u r shooting human..not toys..so things often dont go as what u expected..

for me i think its impt to communicate with the couples so that u have an idea of what they r expecting....so we pp accordingly..and once u know the flow of the wedding..i don think u need any machine gun...from those i tried so far..usually i took about 300 shots..and most of the time 200 of them r usable..for group shots..usually i'd hv 2-3 shots so that i could avoid those blinking eyes...for candid n others..usually 1 shot would be enough...usually after the loud shutter sound..most of them would have notice u already..so its not that "candid" anymore..

For candid shoots its better to unleash your 70200. They don't hear anything laugh.gif
*
i think they usually heard the shutter..not the focusing sound..i find that my 2470 focuses alot faster than 70200G..and shooting candid usually i have around 2shots time frame b4 they start feeling someone is "aiming" at them..lol..but sometimes the 2nd shots..flash power not there yet(especially after long usage)..so might get slight under exposed..

collecting my 135mm later when i go work...would be using it for my next wedding assignment around 3rd jan =D hope it works well..

haha..i got it during my night shift..already 1/2 dead after work(i slept 10hours for my first 2 off days..lol)..so wait until yesterday then got time go out..then wait for my gf to choose her outfit...zzzz..until 6+pm then reach the park..lol..took n few shot n the sun went down liao.. sweat.gif ..but well..glad that some of the shots works for u..

oh, another thing achew, ur subject looks really clean ... pp as well? or is it ori? .. biggrin.gif ..
*
slight PP to remove noise..coz adobe camera raw make sony's raw very noisy by default..so no choice since i choose to use it..i gotta spend few more min to do some noise removal..

no i did not use layering..for most of the shot..what i did was pretty much the same..remove noise..adjust curves x 2(for highlight n shadow)..adjust the vibrancy..contrast and hue/saturation..

QUOTE(finejava @ Dec 22 2009, 12:29 PM)
guys,

wat do u think of the new sony lens SAL2875?
*
i think this shd b a fine lens..but the range is not really good on apsc body if u ask me....even u have a 1635cz but 28mm is just too long on apsc..no that practical

i think its okay to cut the leg..but normally for me..if i wanna cut it..i'd cut alot..i dont just cut a lil bit n it makes like i accidentally left out the bottom portion of the legs..and i would make it a straight cut..for ur 2nd picture..the legs r cut in a slanted way..not something i would normally do..

for ur 2nd question..if i stand far enough..i'd just kneel down to shoot..i dont really have to point up or wadever if im shooting from distant....if im slightly closer..i'd jst bend my back n knee a lil to make it to eye level of my subject..
