Anyway it's simple, just put yourself into the situation, for example if you own a MISB G1 Fortress Maximus now which bought during the 90's @ RM220 (as mentioned ThunderClash), will you be selling the original retail price as for now? The answer will be the reason why never talk about history.

owhh.. now everybody making business out of this hobby... rotf not yet cold, already we heard such ridiculous price.. who sets the market price anyway.. can put high price, but always be reasonable .. some ppl also bought multiple units of discounted items, wit 1 purpose in mind.. to sell back for profit.. poor to those who didnt managed to grab it 1st..

FYI, korean box Brave Max now fetch about USD400 (min) over E-Bay US. That does not include shipping. But condition is MIB/MISB. Go check it out yourself. But many collectors posted that the color is indeed a little bit different. If you don't mind, that ok la.

just got my late haul today, rotf ravage, i feel his robot mode is very detailed and awesome despite the poor painting

and ridiculous alt mode which should not exist , i think they never consider his alt mode when first designing the figure for the movie

then, found out this Fully Articulated Tail mod .. wonder who had try it .. hehe

Rare and saw it at RM600 some time back. Super scalped price! But surprisingly, no/low demand for this piece. Go grab it if you are a completist of ROTF.

Bro, FYI, the Korean releases are actually old stock found in warehouses like the G1 Black car of Road Ceaser in 2007.

Doubtful there will be old stock of Brave Max. Even there is, those sellers aren't going to sell at old prices. Maybe around RM1k for MISB?

If Takara MISB, market price should be around USD1,800 provided you sell over E-Bay US. But very few takers at that price leh. Why? You have one piece to sell?
