The different colors are due to the different eras in Transformers history. Mainly they follow the comics timeline where Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus are "brothers" and the only difference is the color scheme.

Prime had his trailer which could transform into a back-up base and repair center but Ultra Magnus had his trailer as his additional armor.

Added on December 8, 2009, 5:22 pmSame version except for the retooled head and shoulder missiles. The recently issued City Commander has a retooled head and additional shoulder missiles. You should be able to get the shoulder missiles as add-on later this month.

Hasbro actually wanted to reuse the prime cab mode to make money. So they designed a new trailer to combine with prime cab. When they did the cartoon, they came up with a totally new character without the use of the prime cab as a character.

You wanna see the actual style of G1 cartoon UM combining, see the Titanium UM. That reflects the best UM transformation per the cartoon series.

You are right. A bit perut buncit. Bulky and clumsy. If not posed correctly, can collapse. Need to adjust the feet posts correctly. Damn tight. But once done. Alright man.

The car mode ok ok only. Doors cannot close properly, not like Binaltech. This fella's door very plasticky feel. Cannot close tight. But surprisingly Meg and Op can. Maybe it is the mold problem.

Wait until I grab one more piece and put them together first. Quite difficult to transform due to the metal back and top thighs. Should be able to get one more piece on Sat but in the meantime, enjoy the following pics.

Welcome bro. I think everybody will agree that Cliffjumper looks very nice in Metallic Red. He is indeed very cool. The only draw back is that they are more or less the same size/height. By right, they should be a bit smaller than the leaders.

Binaltech not so kilat kilat like Cliffjumper. IMHO, he has one of the best coating in recent years. Binaltech also suffers from paint chips very fast. More or less like Alternity but the plus point of Alternity is that there is more plastic which results in less paint chips but more plasticky look.

Can, RM50 for the plastic wrapper only.
