Hi folks, this is not so much of a case modding but water cooling instead I suppose smile.gif I've never done this before and this would be my first. Everything was done in 1 day (Saturday) and it was tiring (too much of work). I'm pretty happy with the results except for some which I'd like to fix again soon. The Asus Rampage II Extreme with Bitspower full water block on the original motherboard tray

The motherboard tray has been sanded to ensure the primer would stick well on the surface

Spraying with primer. I can't get the normal ones so I had the anti-rust primer but what the heck, the point is just to ensure the black paint stays on the surface.

As I was waiting for it to dry, I started putting in some compression fittings in

Some re-arranging of compression fitting placements here and there

When it dries up, I've done a bit of sanding so the primer paint would not be too thick or it'll affect the overall paint job.
user posted image

After that, it's time to paint it black.

At the same time, I also had the chance to paint my 120mm fan guard and other accessories black.

The case is now empty only with the PSU around
user posted image

The motherboard tray is finally ready and the paint job is around 95% success (some minor defects but that's fine).

I had it fitted onto the case and it looks great, exactly what I wanted.
user posted image

I did some sleeving on my MCP-655 wires. As you can see the quality of the sleeves are bad, colours of the wires are still visible so I ended up only doing partial sleeve. I'm going to get MDPC sleeves soon.
user posted image

user posted image

I mounted the motherboard onto the tray and had it inside the casing. The board is now heavy, easily 3-4KG thanks to all the blocks and barbs.

I've started doing some tubings on the compression fittings. Well, not as easy as I thought after all.

The durometer of the Feser UV's are pretty close to Tygon R-3603 but in this case, I feel Tygon is still softer. I'll stick with this while I order some Tygons in my next shipment. As you can see, it does good bends.

I started everything up to see if it leaked, initially it did but after rectifying, I've placed all other hardwares in and here are some shots with the lights on.

Final shot with the side panel on. A full one day was taken to accomplish this and I went to bed straight without even surfing LY.net (too tired)
user posted image

Updated: I've changed some tubing routines and included more 45/90 degrees. A lot more to be done but here's how it looks like for now:
