But Um  using the fully synthetic one for Vtec Engine, 5w40 cos mine manual
engine is much much more quiet and engaging than when was using Shell Helix Ultra
*
if we just go for normal service at honda without telling them what oil to use, what oil are they using? certainly not fully syn right?

Agree with what geo_seven mentioned. Just drive normally.

But personally I think it's hard if it's a shared car. Different individual, different driving style. But I think the result will not varies too greatly as well. Just got the car and half a tank can only go 143km. In need to go for the first service.

Recently a friend of mine told me it's better to start from D3-D.
And I've been applying this in my daily drive.
I realize it's faster from 0-60km/h.

But whenever i'm at the traffic light, I need to drop from N-D-D3. I wonder if I keep doing this, the gearbox will ''kong'' quickly? One of my friend been doing on his FD2 for a few years and nothing happen so far. Need advice asap. TQ!~

it's design to be that way. No harm to gearbox. Maybe some wear and tear.
*
I even heard a saying that if you just use ''D'', the wear and tear on that part will be the greatest and things like that.
Anyone accelerate their car initial from D3-D as well?

That's so not true. If you're city driving, how often you use the shifter? rclxub.gif

tat's cool to have and i guess it's quite important too. it keep ur attn on the road while adjusting volume channel and mode of play
mayb the kaching kaching sound? duno nv feel in an s spec b4. haha
i use it quite often.. it does helps to smoke some cars biggrin.gif

also another point to note wich i felt is nice to have is the electric side mirror. Tat reali ease alot in folding my mirror. I felt troublesome sometime seeing my fren who have to do it manually. once they get into car and forget to unfold it (for those manual ) wil hv to ask the passenger. hey help me unfold it.. :-s
*
I've to agree with that. The electronic side mirror does give a problem sometimes. And not forgotten to mention, the fog light. gosh! car without fog light feels like something is missing.

so far my accelerate from D3-D technique satisfy me. 0-100kmph is fairly fast biggrin.gif

Hey buddy, USJ Express Sdn Bhd branch right? Remember to ask them whether your car is coated with the anti-rust. But they probably give you the blur face doh.gif

no no, they wont give u that anti-rust coating when delivering your car. most probably you will need to send it back there when u found a single small part of rust. not sure if they will give u the blur face. I just talked to my SA and she say will get it fix for me as soon as i found to be the evidence to be coated. they claim that its on good condition when they deliver the car, so cant do much according to procedures. i'm from 222 branch though
*
That's not what I've heard. Even if your car show no sign of rusting, HondaMalaysia still should provide you with the free coating. That's what I've heard. You're in good hands la. Jln 222 branch is much better than USJ Express. I'm thinking to send for service permanently there.

then what was your version??? If possible i wanna get my car coated b4 i collect it... i switch from usj to 222, initially wanna get it there but donno what held me back and then go to 222 =.=
*
I'm driving a S spec. I contacted HondaMY and they said to give them a few days to sort things out. It's been almost a week. Jln 222 branch look small from the outside compared to USJ Express. That's what hold me back to service. But I heard the service there is much professional and careful.

yalo,i think i around 2 months never change to S mode, liao .Damn mafan and lazy to change gear up & down in city ...before you get the car,you will feel the shifter is a very nice thing to play with.after get the car, sien with it very fast.thats what i feel lah after 1 year with the car d..
*
True that. My mom drives a 4G and I almost never use the paddle shifter in city. Just outstation travel where I need some fun. Most of the time, I just shift from D to S. That's more to enough. Instant power available. Not forgetting to mention, the roaring revs!

Preferably not every week la. Like that, the SA might simply delivery a car to you that people rejected. Case like that happened.

aarex, where you plan to do the coating? Outside or Honda Centre? I'm still waiting for my reply from HondaMY. If I've reached my FED UP level, I'll just send my car to Jln 222 branch. Which SA are you under? vmad.gif

It is normal for SA to pocket some commission la.
In total the SA which I took the car from probably got more than 50% commission from the items I bought.

100 bucks item become 300 bucks.
80 bucks item become 200 bucks.
300 bucks item become 500 bucks.
etc etc

I knew it already but I still pay her up.
Somemore giving her an excellent review during the follow up call by Honda.

My SA technically ''guide'' me to give a excellent review, saying that ''OHH!! This one is regarding my service, rate 4 can already la.'' doh.gif

u can reject the car assigned to u one meh???????  blink.gif  blink.gif  blink.gif
Why not? The car might be in terrible condition the buyer choose to reject the car or they might want their refunds back? Then the car would be a waste. So they might assign it to other buyer? A friend of mine rejected a car, and demand for a replace before. But this is just an assumption. No hard feelings biggrin.gif

Once registered the car is already yours and can no longer transfer to another buyer. Unless with very strong valid reasons, normally it's not easy to reject a car already registered. Unless you got the privilege to check the car allocated to u b4 registration takes place.
*
Yeap! A very strong one indeed. My friend's car was having some sort of problem at the engine bay.
Speaking of which, anyone of you went BestFeel @ Sunway before? Where do you park ur car? In front is always full.

if you are still deciding to go for S spec or E spec. Without any doubt go for E spec. The RM5k difference is worth it. Unless you need the car urgent like me. I had no choice but to take S spec cause I can't wait. Getting the car in a week or so. Dark Grey... smile.gif
Don't say dark grey la. Polish Metal Metallic sound so much classy. Haha! Kecoh only. Don't mind me. Btw, I'm driving a S Spec as well. It's not really a big of difference. Just the fun of paddle shifting during highway travel. Playing around with D3-D for me, it's still very satisfying. biggrin.gif
