QUOTE(defnose @ Apr 30 2010, 10:08 PM) Hey guys, i want to install Modulo bodykit for my Honda City. There is this one shop offering RM2500 for all siap pasang. Just wondering if the Modulo bodykit is the same one offered from authorized Honda dealers. How to tell if its original or not? Help me please, i rather spend RM4700 for original bodykit n last longer than the RM2500 n get problems later on. Curiously, which shop and it's location in exact? Modulo certainly cost less than RM4700. Honda mark up the price definitely. So no worries. This post has been edited by jytanx: Apr 30 2010, 11:40 PM

QUOTE(kons @ May 2 2010, 04:19 PM) you can try braking hard on a slippery road. I guess it will activate itself upon sensing wheel lockup while the car is still moving. I did not have time to notice if the abs light did come on in the meter panel but surely we can feel it with our foot if we are stepping hard on the brake (usually in the case of emergency braking). Like the brake pedal is vibrating, much stronger than what mobile phone does. I activated like quite frequent when I first got the car. Everytime after my car wash, due to the slippery tiles and car porch slope. For sure, activated the ABS. Yeah! It's just like that kons said. Brake pedal vibrating. You can feel like that brake disc is trying to take a grip. This post has been edited by jytanx: May 2 2010, 08:03 PM

QUOTE(abubin @ May 13 2010, 10:53 AM) Run In? At sepang circuit? LOL What is the speed you do currently, before 1k service? Before 1st service, for both my 4G previously and this current 5G, I maintained it below 100km/h. And everytime after my first service, I run it till around 160kph-170kph at....
North-South highway. *Shhhhh...*This post has been edited by jytanx: May 13 2010, 03:42 PM

QUOTE(kevin23 @ May 13 2010, 04:24 PM) The meter is not that accurate.Sometimes i drive like a mad fella with constant revving and all can get 14-15km/l.Then when i drive like a good boy hardly rev, drive around 90 around city the meter shows 10-11km/l .What rubbish.. Best fuel consumption can be obtained at 80kph. If quickly rev till 80kph, save fuel

QUOTE(RME-RAnger @ May 14 2010, 10:06 AM) anyone know where to get the floor mat for our nhc? in kl area? Speaking of which, do inspect if your mat is 3 pieces at the back. Because apparently my mat is ONE BIG pieces at the back. Meaning they joint both the side with the center pieces. Gonna go complaint tomorrow on my first service.

QUOTE(choon hon @ May 16 2010, 03:26 PM) Is there any long term effect if lets say we rev the car till 4.5k and above? I just travelled outstation with my CITY, and rev to approximately 4800RPM when entering the curvy road session (the feeling of G force pushing me into the bucket is speechlessly awesome), where the peak torque can be obtained. IMHO, any rev above 4800RPM is useless la, only for the sound. Unless you trying to obtain top speed la. If you keep revving like no tomorrow of course, not good for your engine. Otherwise, everything is fine

That's good to hear. My SA is not helping at all. I complaint my shaft issue to the service dept, and they asked me to called HondaMY since they have not been replying my mail for a few weeks now.
Hopefully forummer 9600 can PM me the details of the SA.

QUOTE(9600 @ May 17 2010, 06:59 PM) @jytanx PMed you bro. Good luck! @Choon Hon Bro, give time for your ECU to "learn" your driving style. It should be act accordingly and more responsive by then. Bro, don't mind me asking. All the aforementioned venue is not under Honda Centre? I'm blurred.

Regarding skyfreedom statement, I have to say I'm a bit disappointed. My 4G fuel consumption is MUCH better than the 5G. But who cares la. The excitement of driving a 5G is so much greater than driving a 4G.

QUOTE(cry4freedom @ May 19 2010, 08:09 PM) I never owned a car before, owning a 5G is like a dream come true to me after a year of hard work after graduation. I love 4G too, even planned to buy one If I cannot afford 5G =) I can feel the excitement and proudness in you. Being able to claim something that belongs to you. Congrats, buddy! Although the 4G is much better in terms of pick up to a certain extend and fuel consumption, but who cares right? They are called the 5G for a reason. QUOTE(outdoorxplorer @ Jun 8 2010, 08:25 PM) Slight performance improvement due to be petrol and air combustion. Just use the correct drop in replacement K&N will do. Ultimately you will save in air filter replacement cost. I thought open people open pod first for performance wise? what's the correct replacement city should use ah? what's the full name of K&N?
