Just change to new rims lah bro.. The stock looking rims look so small and awful, lol tongue.gif

Also by going 205mm doesn't mean noise will increase lah!! It's the tyre profile that makes it noisy.. Anything below 50 series is low profile, noisy and bumpy.. By going 205, u will have damn nice cornering ability, a lot of confidence.. Pick up and FC will increase.. smile.gif

Cheers bro! smile.gif

Hi bro, remember me right? tongue.gif Actually I like the original 16" rims. I just wanted to widen it to 195mm from the original 185mm just to increase a little more traction & driveability in wet condition. I bought the CITY is more for comfort drive. So no suspension mod or whatsoever with this car. Besides, auto tranny is a "No-No" car for racing to me although it has paddle shifters. I just don't trust the durability of auto tranny if compared to manual tranny. nod.gif

For 1000km service, they don't change the engine oil right? They will charge us if we request oil change?

lipot it here bro. Potential buyers will boycott em. So far I've dealed with Tenaga Setia from road 222 and Peringgit Motors from Old Klang Road. Both are good outlets. Managed to squeeze slightly more from Peringgit though tongue.gif

RM310 should be reasonable but I know a SA that can get it for RM210. Maybe he's doing it by himself and save you Rm100 on the runner fee.

I posted this i facebook regarding the rusty wheel arms. Just my 2 cents & opinion on the issue.

"Hi guys, I don't think the rusty wheel arm that drivers highlighted previously shouldn't be a defect. That part is placed close to the brake disc which will release some rust stains when it is wet. It happens to most cars when the discs are wet. Those rust actually managed to stick on the wheel arm which made it look rusty. I do think the wheel arm are not rusty but is caused by the stain from the car's brake disc. I did noticed the brake disc do discharge lots of rusty stains when it is wet which I do no expect from HONDA."

Is it normal for all NHC to have a loud gear engaging sound whenever you shift gear from N to R? It can't be heard inside the cabin but it can be heard from the outside.

Edited: Gear shifting from N to D

I think the door visor will only adds to more wind noise. I will never install such a thing. The only important thing a door visor does is to prevent rain water from sipping into the cabin in case the windows are not properly shut tongue.gif

even original door visor also will not reduce noise?????

but is it noisy or not in the NHC???
*
- Cabin noise is not as quiet as Vios.
- Suspension wise, Vios feels more solid. The NHC suspension feels somewhat 'hollow' when going through deep pot holes.
- Gear shifting, feels a bit jerky compared to Vios.
- Power wise, NHC wins hands down.
- Cabin space, NHC is more spacious.
- Steering wheel on the NHC looks much cooler & stylish.

Don't ask me why I didn't buy a Vios. I always like HONDA maybe because of their VTEC engines tongue.gif

besides, what tint u applied to ur NHC? is it effective to reduce heat or not???

and u use what security lock for ur car?  shocking.gif

I tinted 3M at Apple Auto. I would say it's quite effective. My NHC is black & when you entered the car, it's still hot but not burning hot inside the cabin.

I haven't use any security lock yet.

Haha!! Seems like you are very eager to get your hands on your NHC. tongue.gif Rest assured it's a good car. I like HONDAs. However, fuel consumption wise is a little let down. It's average only & I am not a heavy footer.

Average fuel consumption you can get about 12-15km/l.

HONDA is giving free coating on the arm already. Make sure you liase with them. I already sent an email to them & awaiting HONDA to arrange an appointment to do paint coating.

I've posted this on 2009 HONDA CITY in facebook.

"Hi 2009 Honda City. I've went to a HONDA showroom for my first 1000 km servicing & saw the CRV, Stream & Accord. They do not have rusty knuckle arms issue because their arms have been given antirust coating straight out from the factory. Even their brake disc rotors are given an antirust coating straight out from the f...actory. Why do HONDA have to be stingy and not give CITY the rust coating straight out from the factory? Aren't quality should be HONDA's main priority? I know CITY is the cheapest HONDA vehicle available but still HONDA shouldn't treat CITY owners in that manner right?"

Just to share my thoughts with forummers here.
