Kindaichi, to be cautious when driving the NHC. I feel that the NHC has some blnd spots where you can't really see from the driver's side. Sometimes, I can't seem to see the kerbs on the left side of the car when making a turn.

bro, do join us at HC3 More specific discussion about NHC.

besides, since i am getting the car soon, can i request to respray the rusty part that encountered by existing nhc ppl??? shocking.gif

Nop.. All I can say it is all based on judgement. I will usually leave ample space & not force my way through.

I don't think you can request as soon as you get your car. Remember, it is not rusty when you get your car. Try filing a complain during the 1000km service & they will respray it for you.

Collecting the car? I didn't check much. If there's anything wrong, you can complain during the 1000km service. Anyway, it's good to follow the checklist.

My City is expected to be delivered on or before end of the month. I am planning to change to Continental tyres to Michelin 205/55/16. Wonder it will be the right choice amdwhere to get the best deal??
*
I would suggest you to go for 195/55/16 instead. 205/55/16 will make your wheel looks bulgy like those American stock car tyres.

185 and 195 would hardy make any difference in road handling right?
*
There will be difference but certainly for 205/55/16, you will feel more traction. My suggestion also emphasized on cosmetic outlook as well. That is why I recommend you to go for 195/55/16.

No harm... Will take a look at 195 too. By the way, how much is Michelin PS3 195/55/16???
*
Not very sure bro. My guess it should be in between RM300-RM400.

Just checked from Michelin's site and noticed that there's not 195/55/16.. Only 205/55/16.
*
Not all brands have got 195/55/16. Even if they do, some might not bring it into Malaysia due to low demand for these tyres.

Theoretically with the additional weight ad friction, it should increase a small percentage of FC but it will be compensated with better road handling. Which tyres are you planning to upgrade?

Added on June 6, 2010, 11:43 amJust came back from tyre shop and realized that 205/55R16 & 195/55R16 will be overkill. Decent and reasonable fitting will be 195/50R16 on stock 16" wheels. Comment please.
*
Yes bro, I would suggest you to go for 195/50/16 to replace our original 185/55/16. 195mm width will give you better traction/bite on the road. 50 series tyre will give you better cornering feel as compared to 55 series (You will feel less floaty with a 50 series tyre) nod.gif

I tried taking a corner with the original 55 series tyre & it really gives a terrible floaty feeling. sad.gif

Btw, what brand of tyres do they have for that size (195/50/16)?.

I would go for Yoko Advan... How much does it cost? As for Continental, i think they are now made in Malaysia by Sime tyres.
