You will be getting yourself a car with a 2.2 inch OEM exhaust piping in a 1.6NA car. Not even ah beng exhaust workshop will recommend installing that big of exhaust pipe and if you ask him to do that they will say you're crazy to fit 2.2 inch to a 1.6NA. So is Proton crazy? Make your own judgement, I myself doesn't think so.
Dissapointingly cps engagement can't be heard on gen 2 cps. If put open pod of course can hear because the cps is on the intake camshaft. Waja can hear maybe because bigger air intake than gen2??? PErhaps next development for campro engine is adding another cam profile on the exhaust cam like on the vtec engine. or can just to turbo it ler 
Maybe if always bumper to bumper drive? My worst so far is 50km for RM10. That would be around RM40 for 200km. Perhaps campro cps engine consumes too much petrol during stop and go as oppose to toyota.
New gen 2 does have that nyek nyek problem  Mine started right away. Thankfully sc solve that problem.

Don't know actual course... He said while driving, suddenly smoke came out from bonnet.. Stopped car at road side... More smoke came out, run to PLUS ask for fire extinguisher.. But cannot stop fire from burn whole car...

but gen2 hood got that sound damping layer if not mistaken...

we need a fire extinguisher in the car...

The positive wire not insulated properly or some component is stepping the positive wire make the insulated open or socket didn't not connect properly which cause spark when the vehicle vibrate.
it still can short circuit if there is no clearance between the terminal and the fiber material. It happen to then which use aftermarket battery terminal which got screw on top the terminal. Original wont as it have protector in the positive terminal. As for gen 2,persona and waja, it hardly can cause the terminal contact as the battery position being lowered. It usually happen on wira.

frankly.... looking at the amount of mods you done on a manual transmission CPS engine and the output figure is only like that..
it is very disappointing to say the least...

118 HP on wheel...
even if with new rubbers... you will be closer to 120 HP on wheel... which in my opinion, a engine kosong campro can still easily put 10HP more with over the CPS with the same mods that you did...
i have less mods then you and i am putting out 127HP on wheels @ 6.8k rpm... if i throw in LCP & ECU... i think i can hit 135HP @6.8k rpm...

what i am more interested in is the torque curve & figures of the CPS engine after the mods that you have done..
that will be much better... because after all CPS is designed to have a better torque output over the empty campro engine..


sorry ya but the figures for CPS is somehow disappointing to me on dyno BUT the real difference is when you are driving it on the real world as the CPS is much more responsive and willing to go then the lazy bum engine kosong campro...

better go dynojet to dyno...

then compare the CPS torque curve with non CPS torque curve...
non CPS will have a higher torque count but the curve will be gay... very very gay... <-- hate to say this but its true, torque curve is very gay..
CPS torque number will be slightly (1%-3%)lower but it is much more evenly distributed.....

sphiroth, what mods have you done to your CPS?

For comparison, this is my 4G92P dyno chart for your reference. Using dynojet so you can see the torque curve. Mods done Perdana TB, Port & Polished head, Matspeed 268 cams, exhaust mods (chaplang), K&N drop in air filter & LCP.
