Yup. A bit crazy. I will likely look for RM7 or so per sqft film. Problem is I want Total Solar Energy Rejection at least 70% plus and yet non reflective i.e. non metal content film ... this is hard to find.

I'll go for some good double layered high ceiling curtains.

We already have curtains despite some are ugly looking 🤣 but the house and curtains are new and unoccupied

double glazed if your place is landed i doubt you need it.

Those condo with bedroom facing highways then they will get it.... its worth the money cause they likely wont have too many windows and the highway noise can be pretty bad.

It just nice to have ... Double glazed low e glass will reduce noise and heat as well. But it averages close to RM100 per sqft. Nope I don't print money and there is no more 1MDB fund around anymore🤣

Back to window tinting I will visit homedec in two weeks to see got any that's around 4-7RM that can meet my requirements. Non reflective type likely yes but I don't like the mirror look of the house at day time and at night you can't see outside at all

ALot of things is nice to have... just like a 700L built in cabinet fridge, but it just aint gonna happen...

Lol. When I was renovating my current house. I seriously considering beautiful build in fridge. Was very close to do it. Instead I opt for a much bigger fridge. Thank God as now I can move this to the new house.

BTW my current kitchen was really go quite far out: Silestone counter top; Spanish imported ceramic floor tiles, cabinets by Signature Kitchen equipped with bells and whistles; ubiq light sockets beside kitchen island; Philip led pendant lights etc etc
So don't ever say it ain't gonna happen ... Sometimes dream does come true especially when you got a good bonus 😂

Lets put it this way.

My current dry kitchen, the entire cabinet setup etc.. using chipboard.. still nice and fucntional. Not a single defect after 15 years.

So now I'm moving to a new place, I'm going for "functional" and not branded/luxury. Cause if I go luxury, the 500k reno budget will not be close to enuf for the house... its the ID's job to make it LOOK nice while keeping to the budget anyway.

Kesseböhmer might be nice, but China Gold Star brand might just work as well at a fraction of the price

My unit is facing south west so the afternoon sun is crazily glaring and heating up my unit. want to install tinted on the windows but dun wanna darken the room.

any good tinted that doesn’t kill so much nature light but can reject heat and glare?

btw, anyone tried KristalBond? please advise about the glare.
