So ugly, really spoil the view.....only good if you are facing NOTHING. rclxub.gif

I dont like blocked views...paid so much for windows, then add some prints on it...

If you want to do this...use roller blinds, at least you can roll up and down...when you need it.

Very cooling, block out light and views when needed. I installed roller blinds on all my big windows now.

Krista Bond is totally different technology compare to window film. Krista Bond is direct coating the heat rejection material on the window surface itself. While window film is coated on the film. Somehow, nothing can last forever, all window films have there life span and warranty period. Dismantle and retint window film is much easier in future. Window film manufacturer in mass production, normally the price for building window film is much cheaper.

Normally, the specialist will pay a visit to your building to take the measurement of each window fragment, or you measure for them also can.

Hi all,
this is a real problem especially if your windows are facing west... like our apartment.
It was so bad that the west facing walls were hot in the late evening and start to dissipate the heat till 9pm.... not funny I'd tell u.
We did not choose solar film in the end as the film will deteriorate after 5 years and it was a nightmare to remove. My sister's apartment just went through that process.

Instead we chose full height curtains to insulate the entire west facing wall.
In addition, we hung "blackout curtains" on our normal curtains, which helped to reflect a lot of the radiation coming.

It is now a lot cooler and we save on air conditioning bills too!

See our renovation blog here.

Not really. If you talking about picture quality, Pana or sony is still better than korea. About lifetime, japan tv is still better. I won't touch samsung at all.

If you only think about the price, than just get the cheapest 1.

totally doable after install grill, our window shouldnt be fixed, should be able to open, and nobody going to install grill on the side of the window blocking it open, so after install gril, when wan to do tinted, just open the window nod.gif tinted on the side that facing the grill
