Anyone knows what the market price for residential window tint? A standard quality will do.

Roughly how much it will cost to tint every single window of a double storey terrace?

Someone quoted me close to 5k for SolarGard and 9k for HuperOptik. sweat.gif

My friend went to buy the tinted roll (or whatever it should be known) from car shop. Then DIY himself.

there is this high quality 3 way blackout curtain fabric, having glue-like lining which is made specially to block out heat and sunlight completely.

feel like it could be an really effective alternate to window tint. wub.gif

its not really because the heat is already in the room. if you dont want to tint then install blinds _OUTSIDE_ the window to prevent the heat from getting into the room.

yep it'd be really good combi to have outdoor blinds + window tint + blackout curtains. just that the cost will get very high smile.gif

double glazed windows + extra uv tint will do. if you want to block the heat some more can add the blinds - but you loose light. block out curtain is just for your sleeping pleasure. can be skipped.
