I'm still not sure if I wanna get it or not, I will just wait it out and see how things goes. Besides I'm not a huge fan of 6v6 matches; ideal player limit would be like 9v9.

OK lets get this straight. Bars r just to give an indication of network quality. Instead of looking at the bars all night, play the game n see if there really a huge game breaking lag.

what do you guys mean you don't know who you are playing with? I thought you can't see who's the host only? or you mean no player lists in the servers to view before joining a game?

Im not sure how it works on PC but im pretty sure its the same with Xbox, we're still playing with alot of lag, but MW2 compensates that in a way. Example:

MW1: Your reticule is right on your enemy, you shoot, doesnt register, because he's actually a few steps ahead.

MW2: Same situation but your shot does actually register, but becoz of lag, you see your opponent die couple second later. This is the same as Killzone 2.

i dont look down on cod players....only those who ruined the game..like mods n stuff. they were tryin to make it like a certain game which i wont mention (dont want to stir up trouble). but i dont care let em be....

reason im gettin this is becoz i hav good latency n theres no mod

n im willing to try different things. if i dont like it i can always trade this for others in EB games

We know who we are playing with. The game grabs the players, puts them in teams n starts. u can even choose to vote not to play a certain map too.

one question tho, i know its tied with steam, so is it legal or can i install it on a different pc at a different location so that i can play this game at another place another time? since i have two pcs (one at my home, another one at my in law in which where i spend my weekends.)

kaiser!!! our pc specs are almost identical. Vista 64-bit and ATI 4800 series. I have one questions for you Sir. Do you have any issue in terms of graphic while playing the SP campaign mode? Like massive drop in FPS at certain area? hope you can share me some of your view. I am currently using the latest 4800 series driver for our vista 64-bit from guru3d. Hope you can share with me some info bro.

Added on November 12, 2009, 12:35 pmIt was confirmed few pages ago there was this FPS drop issue on SP. Perhaps you'll need to wait for the new ATi Catalyst or perhaps a patch for MW2.

You can install on both PCs but only one can be logged in at a time on Steam to play.

Oh okay. I guess if your account just has MW2 on it, no big loss. Not like some of us who have hundreds of USD worth of games on our Steam accs.
