I understand your stance (and FWIW I wholeheartedly agree with the principle behind it) but this is basically a case of a football jock (IW+Activision) beating the shit out of a geek (PC FPS enthusiasts) and then going out on a hot date with the geek's prom queen sister (console earnings) but said geek declares moral victory anyway because he called Jock McBob names while hitting Jock's fist with his chin. (boycotting the game, proclaiming that they'll only play pirated SP) I'm sure Jock gives a shit and will mend his ways in future.

Cheese bro, they brought their game, they blew RM200++ cash, aren't they have the right to enjoy the game even on multiplayer? If you brought the game, i say "if" okay? wouldn't u want to play a lag free game match, instead lurking 24/7 bashing IW.net forum, after all u paid that shit, we have no choice but to improvise.

Also, I think u guys have some great idea for a temporary solution to get a good ping while we hope to get dedicated server back.

Moral victory or not,i dont care,but seeing people who were boycotting this because of Activision's greed,no dedicated servers and whole long list of reasons.In the end, got the game or thinking of buying it.This just shows how spineless PC gamers are,and these are the people that greedy companies like Activision loves to exploit.

Well,maybe i should also blow my RM300 for a laggy MP game to risk my Steam account for VAC ban and see how awesome is FPS P2P gaming.Then,have fun regretting on that RM300 where it should have went for ME2,DA,Torchlight or maybe just keep it in my pocket.It happened once,i guess it should happen again.

No offence,dream on for your dedicated servers,considering how many who were boycotting the game got it in the end.IW dont even care,even simple things like leader board reset from the console gamers.What makes you think that they will actually bother writing some dedicated server codes for a small PC market?

It's just the wonders of hype.Not like MW2 is the only game out there,there are other great PC games made by companies who actually care more about PC gamers.At the same time,not being overly greedy in earning money.

The spineless person i see is u. PM me for the price of a copy then put the hatez on for the game after the fact u bought it n played it on MP. Otherwise ranting when u never experienced the game first hand just makes u spectator screaming from the stands saying this is a shit game n the athletes r shit while still eating ur popcorn n drinking ur beer.

Im not sure how this private server works....Is this a fixed host with extra bandwidth? Because normally when i host a game for my buddies (in Malaysia) the pings can only stay stable if i have 5 or less players in the game.

Like l4d and men of war i can host a game smooth with 4players(including me) using my 1MB Streamyx line. But when i host a game more than 4 players like in gears of war versus or left 4 dead versus quality of connection will drop drastically, rendering the multiplayer game session unplayable. I believe this is true for most of the players in msia as i never joined a l4d versus match in a non-dedicated server.

Im curious, how many of you guys were in a MW2 session? how was the ping?
