are you sure blackrain can JB 3.1.3?

Even for 3G? Aiya, if cannot unlock, at least can use it as an ipod touch, ok ok lorrr....so sad liao... T_T

u can try jailbreak without touching ur baseband by using sn0wbreeze.....i cant.....lol...but i heard news says that some one had fix the blackwn0w for those update and jb with sn0wbreeze with 05.11.07....

jailbreak for 3gs is not out for the currently on the tethered jailbreak in 3.1.2....dont even try to restore to 3.1.3t...then keep the idea that you come back to 3.1.2....it a great hassle..just wait for the release of 4.0 jailbreak....

Look like there is no more upgrade for the iphone 2g when the 4.0 is launched. They left out iphone 2g. I will also be retiring from the apple scene then. Been a loyal user for more then 2 years.

Moving on to something else after this.

why not you move on to iphone 3gs..or 3g...upgrade bro

yeah....better stay at 3.1.2, and 3.1.1 is no much change....so there is no need to update...

just use blackrain la.. y confuse? if ur bootrom is 5.12 then u can try to use redsnow.. normal u just use blackrain enough not mer?

i m new to iphone and quite confuse.

for my case i am on 3.1.3 with 05.12.01 and official carrier from maxis

i just wanna jailbreak it for app, which method should i use?

Last night i accidentally delete package which contain rock and cydia on my iphone 3gs. Now my iphone cant turn on use blackrain program. once i click on "Make it rain", the Blackrain page stuck inside my iphone for about 10 minute then my iphone reboot again and it stuck at blackrain page again and it keep going and going.

Today i bring to a Lowyat store for help,but they cant help me. they say i updated to version 3.1.3 and needed to wait till os 4.0 break code out. Who can help me pls.i really need u all help. my iphone totally cant do anything now. It keep showing Usb port -> itunes. Please help,ur help is sincerely needed here.

can sms me also if u can help me. Please. need to turn on my iphone urgently.

No need to create such threads. And there are currently no JB for 3gs 3.1.3

Try to turn phone off and back on, by holding the sleep and home button for 10 secs. Run blackra1n again see if it works

else,
I believe there are no other way than to restore you iphone in DFU mode

1) Start iTunes and plug the phone in.
2) With the phone powered on, hold both the POWER and HOME buttons for
seven seconds. The screen should turn black.
3) Wait two seconds while the screen is black and release the POWER button
while still holding the HOME button.
4) The screen will remain black, but after a few more seconds iTunes will
detect the phone in recovery mode.
5) Release the HOME button and proceed to restore firmware with iTunes.
6.) If you dont have shsh saved on cydia, you have no other choice than to proceed with 3.1.3(no jb)


p/s : be prepared to spend a few hours on this, and next time please do more research before you do anything to your jbed iphone

Open Cydia. It will be stated on the first page, near the top.
