hi, i'm newly using gps on iphone. i'd installed papago m7 pro into my iphone. problem that i have now the gps does not rerouting my current position showed on the gps screen (i'm currently working outside kl, but current position showed on gps screen was in kl, and navigation all start from kl how do i reset the current position so that i can try navigate from my current position?

I assume you are using Papago for MY & SG, which only comes with MY & SG map. If you are in other country, e.g. Hong Kong, then you will need the HK map, i.e. Papago for HK.
Check the appstore.

Oh, outside KL only.
(1) Check General -> Settings -> Location Services is ON
(2) Ensure you are at outside open area with no trees/roof/tall building blocking. It may take some time to lock satellites, especially if Cellular Data is OFF, as this disabled the so called Assisted-GPS.

hi guys... can anyone recommend me a s/w to connect external GPS receiver to iphone 4 running on iOS4.1?
tried tomtom n papago m7.1 both works GREAT!!! got GPS position locking less den 30 seconds.... but realize dat using papago the device heats up alot which i think will damage the battery... as for tomtom it still will heat up but not so much...
soooo was thinking to try 2 connect to my external GPS receiver to c if the iphone still heats up or not???

i was a garmin user till i switched to iphone.. papago is nothing compared to garmin.. it lags and hangs when u are in housing area, rows of shops area(like ss2).
compared to others, papago is still the best

garmin simply is good because of malfreemap, same goes to papago
if the iphone version using different map format than the normal mobile xt and malfreemap team is not developing any map for it, pretty pointless i must say

I read that the Garmin app could be free, which is a bit odd.
