what is the recommend GPS software?

i need SG and Malaysia Maps. Where Can Download?

Hi bro & expert,

Im about to get Papago M6 for my iphone 3G.

Will papago m6 works without 3G and EDGE, bc i turn off both as i didn sign for the maxis data plan.

Please advice.

yes, papago only relies on using gps(using satellite) which is free of charge

What if there are no signal? Will it use 3G or edge?

eventually gps doesn't use 3g or edge network...but I think it use the network coverage to connect with the satelite...this is because..when I connect to gps when in airplane mode I can't do it..with network no problem..and when my line is barred I can connect to gps...but no data usage allowed by maxis...

excuse me but, how do u add the new papago! update to my current M6? i've downloaded the update from the official site to my pc but i'm figuring how to update it to my iphone. tq

Downloaded and the update captured when synced itunes to iphone

Latest malfreemaps dated 3rd Feb 2010, Papago version M6.2 all good

If they provide free updates every three or four months i am a contented already

Now i can safely say that papago has the most updated map in all gps software for iphone...YESSSS!!!!

how Tomtom can be the best where it uses Tele Atlas digital maps.. And if you check on Tele website, it stated that the map only cover 40% of Malaysia map.. And this mat saleh Co.. map is not up to date. They rely on our Gov official map.. U know la.. ONLY malfreemaps or malsingmaps have the most complete map coverage for Malaysia & Singapore.. No others !!

Downloading my Papago V6.2... way to go papago... hope next update will have UI improvement....

Yeaa..guys how big tha update maps?.bcoz until now my downloading still no bar progress,i start download last 2 hours...

well it is around 179 mB....so depends on your speed bro

P1 got problem..now back 2 normal..yeahh.

I must say that the new update at least solved part of the lagging screen problem.

Much responsive now compared to previous version. This exactly like I said earlier. software bugs can be solved. map data? you figure out!

ya but papago doesnt give the gps reading rite?

is kinda not so user frendly ...

i still prefer garmin...sigh too bad

the latest update for papago is just map update or there's software/bug fixes?
