TS, you should have pm-ed this "pickles" instead. I don't work in L'oreal but for all I know...

1. RM 2600 (somewhere there, can't remember well)
2. Was it 6 months or 1 year? I think it's the latter...
3. Three levels of interview. No IQ question/ presentation etc. Just one-on-one.

Your best bet is to mail your resume over and wait for any emails/ calls from them for an interview.

Loreal was one of the suppliers for my ex company, I visited their office, too.

Working environment is ok, typical office style, open-space, ladies more than men, ladies there are charming and they are always in modern, smart outfits.

I was in entertainment line last time therefore I dealed with cosmetic suppliers like Loreal.

I'm not sure about their company benefits and so but yeah, if you are able to get in there, it would be great.

yup it's a good price for starters, that's why a lot of ppl apply for their mgmt trainee position. Estee Lauder is good as well. Used to work part time there (a friend's cousin sister works in the account dept).

Yes staffs will get staff price but I hope that is not the only attraction to work there laugh.gif

TS, search for "pickles" or any post by him/her. You will see an icon that says "private message" or "pm" so just click on it. It's easier to contact a person via pm coz it will pop up on the top of the forum when he/ she logs in and they will also receive a notification on their email.

The PR manager I used to contact has already resigned few years ago;
There's another product manager, not sure if she's still there, and there's another PR General manager, if i'm not mistaken, not sure if she's still there or not.

Hey,

L'Oreal is in the midst of hiring Management Trainee for their Sales & marketing Position. Should be starting in Dec or Jan 2010. Their ad was in Jobstreet couple weeks back.

As far as i know, it will be a one year job rotation with sales task the first 3-6 months.
Salary RM 2500-2600 gua

As for selection process
its 3 stages of interview finalised with a half day assessment with other candidates.

Hope this helps!

well, you can always try... If you are interested in this industry...

well, salary wise, yea i guess that L'Oreal is indeed lower.

How bout you try all three, and once you've gotten All 3 job offers, decide which offers the best package in terms of starting salary, job advancement and opportunites and which is where you're most comfortable with? =D

~think Long term~

HAPPY~
