Ngog 'flattered' by Cameroon invite
Liverpool striker David Ngog has been approached by Cameroon to play for the Africans, despite having played for France at Under-21 level. Ngog, who has played for France from Under-16 level through to Under-21, qualifies for Cameroon through his father. Cameroon coach Paul Le Guen is keen for Ngog to change his allegiance ahead of the African Cup of Nations and World Cup. If Ngog decides to play for Cameroon it could leave Liverpool with problems in attack for January as Cameroon are involved in the African Cup of Nations in Angola at the turn of the year. Ngog admits he is flattered by the approach and he is now considering his international future. "I have had contact with the Cameroonian federation. Now I need some time to think about things. I'm very flattered," Ngog told The S**t.

lol...well maybe theres sth different about ex-communist bloc's placenta...or maybe rafa has grown old enough to start playing SAF's injury game...just look at how he always say that his main players weren't training but at the match itself...they r fully fit n running...

QUOTE(gerrardtorres9 @ Nov 19 2009, 02:02 PM) They are trying to tell us that they are the team who spends the least among top teams, but yet able to have the best players. Infact, players like samri nasri, andrei arsharvin cost them above 10million pounds(12 and 15) each. Theo walcott was already a wizkid before joining them. Eduardo costed 7.5 million pounds. so what say you It's a stupid point though, from a team of Invincibles they slumped into a team that has never won a silverware for 5 seasons. This season they seem to be mounting a serious challenge (Jury's still out for this one, they lost to Utd & City and yet to face us & Chelsea.) but they had to fork out for Arshavin (No doubt it's a good deal, but Arshavin is worth a lot more than what they paid. Ask any Gunner that had Arshavin cost more than 20mil, would they be willing to fork out for him?) and Vermaelen. Both made a difference didn't they?

Im speechless...I don't know if you want to justify Liverpool's performance, rafa or the money spent. But to be frank, Liverpool is the 2nd team I liked ok, but it's also the most eye-soring.

The thing is there are people who has repeatedly pointed out that you don't need to spend big to challenge for honours and use Arsenal as the 'perfect' case study. Look at the teams that won the PLs and CLs in the past few year, even the Invicinbles was accembled at a price. Fyi Arsenal is also another team I admire.

got nothing against the arse. i'd rather have their style of play and not winning a silverware for 5 seasons that the current way liverpool are playing right now. last half of last season liverpool was pretty entertaining. then the playmaker left and everything in shambles again. hoping by new year aqulaini can fill that void place...
whoever said paying 20m for arshavin is too much must not thinking right.
