i tried both orkid (in kuah town) and orkid ria (pantai cenang)... both are nice and affordable...
orkid in kuah is cheaper but non-halal...

Dinner buffet in Westin Hotel, RM99++. I went there, nice.

orkid is ala carte rite ? if 2 ppl easy to order ar ? i can imagine will order then cannot finish..

Yup.. both are ala carte... orkid is a typical chinese restaraunt where u can order wat u want...

orkid ria is in pantai cenang, yes... and menu comes with prices...
when u order seafood, you can pick it yourself... they have a vast selection when u enter the restaraunt...
overall experience for orkid ria was excellent... price is abit high but worth it.. nice ambience, good service, good food..
rootian.. not too sure where is that tho

one place i will not recommend is sawadee... along pantai cenang, nearer to the junction to hotel aseania... the food tastes bad and price paid is not justified for the poor service and the food.

Also don't forget Orchid in Kuah and also Yu Loong also in the same area. Nice seafood and price not too bad.

If you're willing to travel to Kuah, I heard/read that Wonderland offers pretty decent food.
