Whoa, you transformed the stick to look like that? I have a Hori Stick SS (Sega Saturn) that I bought 2nd hand, looks pretty much like that as well. Probably 12 years old ago when it was bought by the original owner. The directional input works fine, but the Z and Start button are easily jammed in. You think a mod job might be able to fix that? But then I'll need to find that small Start button, won't I?

You need to check the buttons diameter if it can fit it Sanwa / Seitmitsu buttons (3 cm / 30mm). If you can work a solder iron you should be able to mod it (which I suck at, a lot of solder blobs here and there smile.gif ). As for the start button how big is it ? you have a picture ? If the start button is the same as the arcade 1P, 2P button then it should be easy to find.

Thanks. But after the mod, I can't close the back casing since the Sanwa Stick is much taller than the stock Hori stick. Malas to cut the extra plastics plus I don't have a dremel. Also my bad soldering skills and wire management make closing it impossible as well. There is a about a 1cm gap between the bottom base plate and the joystick, (use some cardboard as filler at the bottom.

Not really, just adding 2 things in between the Saturn & display. But the result isn't quite satisfactory, so I quit using it. Looking for a better one now, but those are way beyond my budget sad.gif

Let's just wait for a good deal

It's been AWHILE! How is everyone getting on? Gundamalpha, still remember me =D I recently got hold of a Sega Saturn bundle from JP! Can't wait to get acquinted with it this weekend! I've always wanted a Saturn as a kid. Heck, I even bought some games for it back then. That was how determined I was to get the console, which unfortunately, never happened. I can't wait to play the killer games like VF2, Soukygorentai, Batsugon, Shinobi X, Nights, VF Kids, Fighting Vipers.. Wow, alot to list here!! I've got a few loose Famicoms from Japan which are just sitting around. They aren't the best condition, most of them are yellowed, dusty. But they are in working condition. Might sell them here if anyone is interested =) I've also got some spare DMG-01. Hit me up if interested!

Haha. Well, been busy with stuff. But that's an excuse. blush.gif
Handhelds always been my thing. Quite happy with the collection so far, and thought I'd get rid of some that's just occupying space. I'm still focussing on Famicom/Gameboy/GameGear stuff, but recently got poisoned into getting the Saturn. drool.gif

How are you dude? Which system are you into at the moment?

Good to hear that! Twin Famicom rules man. I love mine too. I just recently got into those shooters really. Been watching videos of them on YT and also trying them out on MAME. Actually the game that started it all was Donpachi, when I first tried it on an emulator (Final Burn Alpha) on a Chinese emu handheld called Dingoo (I think it's a very neat product) I was blown away by the graphics, powerups and bosses!
