The preview look so much better than the before. Interface look slicker. SE better do right with X10.
I have my reservation when i saw the video of X10 during the SE announcement but this preview look sexy. then again, what's the price??? HTC Magic with Celcom goes for RM1999 and that is with 12 mths RM148 (cheapest available).
this preview is definitely much better than the ones shown when it was just announced, i guess SE has been working hard on it
but i still feel that it's a lil bit laggy with mediascape and timescape, and the zoom on web browser..
and do you notice that the screen is a bit unresponsive sometimes? the reviewer seems to touch twice or thrice to get something done, sometimes.
hopefully it'd get better when it's finally released, or maybe significant improvement can be seen if it get updated with Eclair 2.0.
The thing that i love most is, it has got flash(funny but yea, camera without flash is just disfunctional).

Only nerds will worry about wasted bits :-) As to claims of slowdown, they are due to unoptimized APIs and slow hardware, mostly an issues with older devices. My primary concern would be how it effects the battery, if the difference is not so much might as well have 16M color.
If you just present a picture, people are not going to be able to tell the difference, but if you are using graphics programs or something and it has a color selector of a row of the same color subtly shaded, some of the colors are going to look the same on a 64K screen.
The difference between 64K and 16M is slight, but not quite undetectable (at least I could notice the difference).
http://www.easyrgb.com/index.php?X=RESOWell one thing to mention is, the color is limited by the software (Android 1.5), not the hardware. SE Xperia X10 is capable of 16m colors
