about to pull trigger on this model HTP-TSS51
it has the VSX-520-K and Infinity Speakers. i went to a shop and tested it and it was crisp. i couldnt measure the sound quality as the shop does not have a showroom. it was displayed with other audio systems making it difficult to justify. Was wondering any owners here would share their experience using this model? Also, wat is the best price for this model. very interested in what are your opinions. Thank you in advance. ![]() |

theoritically yes. bigger speaker have lower frequency response and fuller sound compare to satelite system. i never test todoroki so no comment.
actually im considering between infinity HTP-TSS51 or pioneer Series 3 speaker systems. pioneer cost double of infinity and i like the slim tower design yet have reasonable sound. but im not movie fans.. dono worth to spend not. later only use to watch astro...lol This post has been edited by genkis3: Dec 19 2010, 10:46 PM |

QUOTE(boygenetic @ Dec 19 2010, 04:29 PM) about to pull trigger on this model HTP-TSS51 I bought this set but with VSX-820K, the TSS-500 can produce more clarity sound that i tested in the showroom, the speaker like RS77TB have more bass sound but not so clarity, so far i satisfied with this speaker, if you need something like rock music, i think RS77TB suitable, if you mainly use for watching movie, i recommend TSS-500, you can heard a single background sound in the movie clearly. it has the VSX-520-K and Infinity Speakers. i went to a shop and tested it and it was crisp. i couldnt measure the sound quality as the shop does not have a showroom. it was displayed with other audio systems making it difficult to justify. Hi all,
I own quite an old system which is a XV-DV33 home theater system from Pioneer. I'm trying to connect my media player to output audio to the home theater system via the optical in port on the XV-DV33. However, there's no sound coming out from the home theater system. Any idea why? Are there any configurations that needs to be done (seems like it with other home theater systems)? If so, anyone knows how? I don't know where the manual is already for this system (can't find any user manuals online as well). |

HT set? so, AVR and speakers?currently the cheapest i found is the HTP-TSS51 consists of entry level VSX-520-K and Infinity Speakers. that would cost like more than RM2xxx. not sure this model can be found sold less than RM2xxx. other brands have less than RM2xxx but thats w/o the AVR. so good luck buddy and Merry Christmas. |

Yup, checked already, it is set to digital now (can also confirm it when there's no sound coming out from the TV already, so the audio should have went to the optical cable). Any settings needed for the home theater system? |
