QUOTE(writesimply @ Oct 8 2010, 02:21 PM) See the photos attached. Crappy photos taken using my iPhone. [attachmentid=1823400][attachmentid=1823402][attachmentid=1823403][attachmentid=1823404] No idea. It doesn't have the heft of Polk satellites so it's probably not a decent satellite speakers. But if you're starting at zero and you want a 5.1 setup with a very good receiver, this deal is too great to pass up. Indeed. I told somebody about this deal who had just bought the 1020 last week. He was screaming mad. fuad It's a Very good deal! Can anyone confirm whether the offer still available? I'll coming down from JB to get it..

Flagship AV desa park city offer VSX-820 + TSS500 infiniti speakers total RM3288, is that worth? The staff there told me infiniti speaker is much more better than Todoroki S-RS77TB.

Just managed to test the IPhone to use as a controller the Pioneer 920k. Had to download the application from Appworld. It works!

QUOTE(rstusa @ Dec 8 2010, 09:06 AM) Do you know how to connect the iControlAV from iPhone to the AV receiver? According to the Pioneer specs only the 920 & above have iControlAV. Once I've installed the software on my iPhone 4 I just launched the application and clicked on av receiver. It automatically detected the 920. I believe it is connected via Wifi so most current Pioneer av amp with wifi connectivity can be used. My 920 is connected to the Streamyx Unify Wifi router.

You don't have to. It auto-detects the Pioneer 920k and connects straight away.
Btw... I notice some higher end Pioneer in Sg.. the LX73 & 83.. going for S$3000+ range with ICE technology used in B&O. Compared to the Denon 4311 series.. which one is better? It does cost more than Denon though.

yes it's an old model. The current model is 820. I bought my 920k in Sg for S$800. The 820 should be around S$700 so you may as well get the newer model for the same price. In fact if you pay slightly more they are having bundles with speakers/dvd players for $900-$3990 depending on which model.

just check in as your luggage. Yes, you may get taxed, so u have to be 'smart' a bit and know what invoice to use just in case. If you have a big bag, take out the box etc and tell them it's a demo unit that u got it cheap.
Btw, you can also reclaim GST 7% at the airport if you're taking flight. So you do get some cash back.
