Woah sounds wicked. Where can i get it? Isit like standard or there are better ones i could get?

Where to?
*
standard ones are the same like the ones included with the purchase... so no use buying them cuz it does no difference...

if you willing to spend some $$ go to those hi-fi shop and get them smile.gif
they can be expensive too...

but here's an advice... you try the stock cables first... if you like it,then leave it like that...
if you are unsatisfied then try it out

Alright friend smile.gif

I see you hard selling 730D eh.. Is that really so good? If like i were to put in for my tv system as compared to the old AIWA 4.0 hifi im using now which cost about 3-4k last time?
*
in some cases then the aiwa speaker will win compared to the s730 cuz that speaker is built for tv

s730 is somewhat computer speakers and not a ht system... they work best on close range
on your aiwa it is a home speaker system and it's designed for far range listening...

I don't mind putting an s730 if I own one s730

but to let you know... a computer speaker for a tv will result in loss of details... tiny hidden sounds will be missing...

and yes... if s730 is used for a computer... IT'S ONE AWESOME SPEAKER (Aego M still sounds better tho tongue.gif)

budget RM100-RM150. sound accuracy and clarity are preferable. eyeing on Edifier M1335 or E3100 but it's an old model.

is M1335 wooden made?
*
pls choose the E3100
the m1335 isn't a fun speaker to play with icon_rolleyes.gif

is the difference significant? although i know E3100 is the better one as my friend owns one and i've tested it before, not for M1335 though.
*
since you can own E3100 then go get one.
the m1335 does not provide enough kick compared to e3100
and e3100 is adjustable (volume,bass,treble)
while m1335 only have volume and bass control

Haha right.. thanks. The aiwa is like 13years i guess..

I thought things would be so easy just get a multimedia speaker and pop on the system. Don't have to do so much research on HT system. haha

Just bought C3. Gonna burn-in later when I'm back from Shanghai. smile.gif Can't wait to come back LOL.

Will ask you more bout burn-in when i'm back, k? Haha hope you don't mind. Just enjoy reading your explanations. XD

See you around.

ok I'll wait smile.gif

*
c3 and s530d is totally a different level of speakers...

and these speakers are PC speakers... so they should sound like PC speakers...
why ask this question??
you wanna make it as a home theater speaker?

sry for d noob question, but was wondering whether i could connect this pc speakers straight to my plasma tv?
*
yes but connecting it to plasma tv you'll get only stereo sound... all the speakers for 5.1 system (including subwoofer) will be wasted
might as well get a 2.1 system instead icon_rolleyes.gif

Hey guys one more question, trying to get the perfect placing of my sub for the 730. Currently placing under a wooden desk. Should I moved around the corner or somthing? By the way, the speaker is on the wooden desk as well
*
it's best to put as far away from the corners as possible... cuz that's not genuine bass anymore...

try to put near walls and as center of the room as possible.

Hey, thanks for your reply.

I mostly listen to rock songs, bits of rnb. That's it really. I'm looking for speakers that is not too
bulky, my room is very small lol. I'm afraid there won't be enough space after all.

Which do you recommend for SC. Any personal preference maybe? Thanks.
*
I'd choose Asus Xonar U1 but there is many more good soundcards available outside

So is Edifier S730 a good choice? Will it be a significant difference over my current speaker? Planning to use it for long term, which i believe Edifier can serve me well biggrin.gif

woops this is my bro's account. anyway im Pangkey
*
serious HUGE difference if you upgrade from m3300 to s730
especially the bass from the 10" subwoofer

alright, thanks man. I am still confuse on which to get.

Been reading reviews only so far, and came to notice that Logitech Z 2300 received a fairly good ones. What bout this?
*
logitech z-2300 isn't good for you I think...
it'll be bloated with ridiculous bass since your previous speaker is M3300
plus it doesn't sound very nice... only the subwoofer is good...
and people can get tired of the bass easily due to the boomy bass
unless you wanna pair your old m3300 satellite with the z-2300 subwoofer then it'll be a slight upgrade
the Z-2300 is for people who had never experienced pc speakers with subwoofer before tongue.gif

just go for the S730...
the subwoofer suspension is tighter than the z-2300 which provides tighter bass... not loose bass

how about Sonic Gear Spectra 3000 5.1 RM118? just curious of a 5.1 with the price tag.
*
a cheap 5.1 system isn't as fun as a cheap 2.1 speaker
furthermore sonic gear quality makes it worse as sonic gear is really bad in quality control

Hi guys, i need a little bit of recommendation here. Looking for a set of 2.1 speakers for my PC that's really cheap and sounds great. My budget is anything that's less than RM200.
I've seen lots of recommendation for the Edifier E3100, but was wondering if there are any other alternatives. If there really arent any better choices out there then i'll go with the E3100.
I'm a gamer, but i do watch my fair share of movies and listen to lots of songs. So looking for a great all-rounder here.
*
there are many more selections like
Divoom
-XForce 1
-XForce 2 (if you can spend a little more)(my favourite divoom speaker)
-XForce 3
-Revo 3
-Voom 2 (double the bass)
-Nebula

and some Eacan speaker
Here

oh oh
go here
someone's selling his Edifier R501 for RM175!!! YOU BETTER GO GET IT BEFORE SOMEBODY TAKE IT AWAY!!!
It's worth every single cent

the aego m subwoofer should be longer than t3
maybe bigger too
but the subwoofer is not for serious boom booms like the t3
they are for soft acoustic music example like your piano smile.gif
I'd pick the Aego M because it's the best among the speakers you've mentioned.
Plus it's also called as Audiophile speakers tongue.gif

t40 is nice but I think it's not loud enough like what you have on your piano.

and t3 isn't nice for a piano cuz the subwoofer is too BOOM BOOM for a piano doh.gif

Thanks for the info. But i think T3 can also do very good mid and high range, the bass might come in handy when i use backing rhytmn to play pop songs though. Playing piano for extended period can be bore...changing phase to other instrument is fun. smile.gif

Do you know anywhere can auditon/listen to the Aego-M?

Some reviews says T40 is quite ok...going by specs it's 14W per channel i think, total 28W. My current speaker only 7W ...so should be sufficient me thinks....but again...dunno where to audition.

Added on July 29, 2010, 4:03 pm
Hmm...the design is weird.....a bit pricey it seems, but can consider. Will try to check more reviews on these.

Added on July 29, 2010, 4:04 pm
I think the T20 will be not much louder than the built in speakers.

Added on July 29, 2010, 4:07 pm
Where to audition these speakers? Frankly, i wasn't really impressed with Edifier speakers. But of course, i haven't heard these models b4. But there seems like no reviews of Edifier speakers on the web?? Maybe it's only sold in Asia??
*
you can audit most of the speakers at Lowyat Sri Com
Edifier studio speakers are very good too... give them a chance. The R1900T3 is the best among three
