Wow...the recomendations is getting pricer and pricier...I don't have such a big budget for this or need it!!!

I am a big fan of edifier lol
not an edifier salesman (but if edifier wants me to be one I'd love to tongue.gif)
cuz most pc speakers are either too expensive (example harmon kardon,aego m,bose) or the quality sucks badly (example:sonic gear,altec lansing)

recommendation price is getting higher and higher cuz we are trying to poison you biggrin.gif

and the harmon kardon thing... it's their signature... they like it alien looking clear speakers.

u want RM100K speaker? I can recommend one if you want tongue.gif

just go with the R1900T3... I think no need to audit oso can cuz it sounded good laugh.gif

I think the tweets and mids are more sensitive than woofer... that's why it sounded like lack of bass...

speakers do have mid-woofers
they produce mids and bass
but in my case I got mids only... no bass

ahh yes... this speaker is beautiful in clarity,especially vocals...
but as time flies,music changed and most modern pop crap won't sound nice on this speaker anymore sad.gif

I like the classic box design of edifier speakers compared to the groovy smooth look on modern speakers

the box design allows me to put my toys,rubbish,decoration on the speakers while most modern speakers can't do so tongue.gif

that's why la... u tweak the system... that's why it sounded good cuz logitech is capable to do so...
logitech can make good sounds... it's just that on stock/untweaked it's really bad.

just done some fine research...
some rumors say logitech have bad and good units...
mostly bad units are produced and the good ones are rare...

how does your wired remote power button looks like? cuz it can be easily identified by looking at the button

not much to upgrade actually...
maybe Edifier C3 or S330...
but you are a formal user of vs4121 u sure get disappointed with the bass...

top it up till RM700 and get the Edifier DA5000PRO for RM689

aha... since you're in Canada... Edifier speakers are VERY cheap there (should be)

for RM800 you can try Edifier S530D (RM759) should be around CAD $245
or you can continue with the DA5000PRO for (RM689) CAD $223

I have no idea what line of speakers they have in Canada...
Edifier is the only Canadian speakers I can think of biggrin.gif
