Papago took me the HOLLAND yesterday. mad.gif

I found the interface on Papago is much nicer than others. However I think the refresh rate is slower and most time my current direction pointer is out from the actual location (i.e. my car is on other side of road)

Maybe it is not fully supported on Froyo yet. Or maybe is because of my Galaxy device sad.gif

The m3shoppe doesn't want to sell to me after I told them I am running Android 2.2 and they said their PapagoX5 version only supports Android 2.1  doh.gif
*
It runs very well on Android 2.2 Froyo on my smartphones : My ex NexusOne, Galaxy S and present Dell Streak ( unofficial 2.2) and HD2 ( Froyo cook rom)
Officially only on 2.1 . Dunno why this info never updated to M3 staffs

It is 101% Galaxy S poor GPS function which is generally unreliiable, inaccurate and slow lockup. The software is excellent on my present Dell Streak and HD2 ( Android rom)

http://dl2.papago.com.tw/download/Papago/A...00806.part1.rar
http://dl2.papago.com.tw/download/Papago/A...00806.part2.rar
http://dl2.papago.com.tw/download/Papago/A...00806.part3.rar
http://dl2.papago.com.tw/download/Papago/A...00806.part4.rar
http://dl2.papago.com.tw/download/Papago/A...00806.part5.rar

2.then extract the file in pc using winrar, it should extract NaviSEA folder and contents to your pc

3.just copy the NaviSEA folder to your internal memory or storage card

Papago can't find Holland for me. There were a lot of roads that Papago can't find.

lol i'm pretty sure the 'HOLLAND' mentioned by Sampo is not a country.

The search function in Papago is very, how do i put this... non-blanket. Meaning you can only find roads in 'Road Search'. Typing in 'Jalan XXX' in POI search will not show any result. Same goes for searching POIs in 'Road Search'.

If that doesn't help, maybe update the map?

You need to run the APK file to install  the program.

The 5 files after extracted will create your Map contents

It is TRIAL when you download from Papago website.

If you want convenience get locally either buy online or at M3 stores in Msia

ONLINE : http://www.m3shoppe.com/index.php?page=sho...emart&Itemid=26

M3 has many retail stores throughout Msia : http://m3asia.com/index.php?option=com_dea...alers&Itemid=65

Does the papago software vibrate every time you click a button on the menu/settings?
Mine does. Don't know how to turn it off. Any suggestion?

Dunno whether I'm slow poke on this or not but would share it anyway.

The common bug of using English navigation voice would result in "clapping" noise is solved when I updated the latest map from MFM.

Hope this is not a stale news yet. tongue.gif
