Guys, If I use 32 bit os, is it possible to use standard driver from benq website? I mean the hybrid power can still be used, right? Thanks.

iirc the driver for Vista is super old (the initial release), and the driver for Win7 is newer, but requires u to flash the BIOS to latest under Vista...

the official driver from benq site can be used, but do note that if u are using the W7 version(v187), you'll have to flash ur bios to 1.20 in VISTA ENVIRONMENT..it's proven in benyouhui that flashing in other OS will fail..mine flash half way straight away shut down..showing 1.20, but i don think the flashing is complete..

So, if install windows 7 32bit, no need to flash bios? What is the advantage if flash bios?

u'll need to flash if u want to install BenQ's driver... but u can skip that if u install modded driver...

a new BIOS usually irons out bugs that are found after the computer has been put on sale...

@eastwest: the new driver would require u to flash bios already...whether u using W7 or vista, doesnt matter, still need to flash..however bios can only be succesfully flashed in vista

@astria: like that a...i dunno liao..haha
