Actually, I did plan to start a site too dedicated to Android..But there are lots of sites out there already running for Android..I got my own server and planned to design a nice template for it..Im not sure if I will be able to give dedication to it though..But if you want a community, I can hook us up smile.gif Provided we have enough people to manage it..

Yeah..Adhoc connection. PC to mobile bridge connection with internet sharing from the PC..I used to do it a lot on Symbian phones before this because their 3G wasn't that efficient..However, on my Hero, I prefer to use 3.5G connection from Maxis because surprisingly, it kicks the butt of Malaysia's streamyx connection biggrin.gif If you want to test the real competition, try using the YouTube application in your Hero - both on wireless and 3.5G. You'll be surprised wink.gif

I load a 3.5 minute video in 4 seconds on my 3.5G connection tongue.gif

Why don't you guys use an application do download it? I run on a mac, so I use jDownloader. For windows users, RapidshareDownloader is a very good application smile.gif You just put up the links in the app, and let it do the rest of the job..It will auto connect, resume and do everything thats needed to download the files..Try it out..

Idk why, but I've tried to make the guide really simple, but people tend to have problems with the recovery installation..If I were flashing a new Hero, I'd just type this:

adb shell reboot bootloader
fastboot boot recovery-RA-hero-v1.2.3.img
adb shell mount /sdcard
adb push recovery-RA-hero-v1.2.3.img /sdcard/recovery-RA-hero-v1.2.3.img
adb shell flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery-RA-hero-v1.2.3.img
adb shell reboot

and it actually works...

I'm not sure yet..But it MIGHT not be that expensive..Google is making it unlocked from the beginning, so I'm expecting a price tag of about RM2.8k around that..Still waiting for its official release..

Also, the rumoured HTC Dragon is the same as Nexus One.."Dragon" was just a pre-release name of some sort..It will be named "Nexus One" and currently the projects' codename is "mahi mahi"..lol

Is your phone connected already? Do you have FlashRec installed? Is your phone rooted already?

Okay, first thing is to root your phone..Install flashrec and continue from there..It will be very easy..Trust me smile.gif

Btw, version 3.0 is being uploaded..Its a very fast race now..3.1 will be coming out soon too..but well, at least I have verified 3.0 now smile.gif also, amonRa is updated to 1.5.2 for those who don't have it yet..Teknologist kernel is now 1.91 but will NOT be included in this version yet..
