both rear tyres should be shifted to the front in a "cross" manner (left-rear to right-front, right-rear to left-front)
depend on ur tyre condition, if ur threads are very uneven, now u will have better grip in the wet on one side of the car - very dangerous!
i also wonder if ur mech bothered to check the rotation direction of ur tyres before he swapped
