im using a HDMI cable now on my LCd tv, feels like not good as my previous plasma.. it is better to get a VGA cable compared to HDMI ? how to fine tune the setting under xbox360 "Display" for lcd tv ? Btw, is it just me that feels like the game "Assassin creed" is over-white, like flashing by spotlight all the time ? This post has been edited by KLX213: Oct 29 2009, 05:44 PM

No such thing as "moreexpensive highend HDMI cable" can get better picture quality . Just buy the cheapest HDMI cable you can find .

The editors at CNET are so confident that cheap HDMI cables offer identical performance, we've been using inexpensive Monoprice HDMI cables in the CNET Home Theater Lab for more than a year with no issues. That's saying a lot, especially when you consider that our video experts are constantly swapping in new products and changing configurations, which means our cables take much more abuse than they would in a normal home theater. We're also accustomed to making long cable runs, and many of our cables from Monoprice are 15 feet long. We also use even longer 20-foot cables from a generic maker with no appreciable loss in video quality. If cheap HDMI cables are good enough for the eagle-eyed video professionals at CNET, we're betting they're good enough for your home theater. http://reviews.cnet.com/hdmi-cable/?tag=rb_content;rb_mtx

I myself dont believe in high end cables in the first place and because truely its overprice but then after I take my risk in trying the Xbox360 monster cable I can say that. Price = Quality and Performance.

hi guys another thing ....
actually im using the Sharp 42A66m model... does anyone using this lcd tv for xbox here ? im not sure wheter is the model's setting or the model itself. i found out that this lcd tv actually makes me nausea because of the contrast problem, the dark enviroment is too dark and the bright enviroment bright like a flash light. i did try to adjust the setting but not as perfect as my old LG plasma....
