QUOTE(wcliang @ Oct 30 2009, 08:49 AM) All THESE "high end best quality" overpriced hdmi cables are a con . No such thing as "moreexpensive highend HDMI cable" can get better picture quality . Just buy the cheapest HDMI cable you can find . +1 Monster cables are just a farce

QUOTE(hermes.hue @ Nov 13 2009, 09:30 AM) Hi, i am Hermes from Giraffe. We have tested some "cheap in price" HDMI cables with the HDMI test equipment, the results show that it is not running at full fuctions (9 functions) or full pins (19pins). because of this, it can sell at very cheap price. For Giraffe HDMI cable, it is 1440p ready, which is already used in video wall projects (1440p display projection) in Malaysia & Shanghai. i am very sure Giraffe is not overprice but affordable, what do you all think? you are welcome to let me know your opinion, and i can send you the video of HDMI testing procedure. thanks! Added on November 13, 2009, 9:34 amhi, try to turn off the "syn" function xbox360 only can support to the maximum of 1080p what... so does the rest of the AV equipment nowadays, if a cheap cable can do 1080p already, why buy an expensive 1440p cable if your device can even support it? wait until 1440p become a new standard only then we might consider your 1440p cable

QUOTE(navigator @ Nov 13 2009, 10:05 PM) I've tried to disable the HDMI recovery feature on xbox and it does not work. It never happened until recently I attached an additional Digital connector on the xbox360. i got the same problem like yours, my console restarted even when i switch channel this if nothing to do with the HDMI recovery feature, but the main culprit is the digital connector, since you are using that, I assume you are using optical out to your AV receiver, right? me also to solve this restart issue is very simple, just switch off your AV receiver when switch on/switch channel on your TV, problem solved!! this is actually caused by the audio sync on the digital connector
