Are citylink's services good?

Not good! Totally sucks. I thought pos laju sucks until I tried skynet. And then i thought skynet must have been the worst so i tried citylink. URGH. blardy expensive but service is not up to par. they dont even bother to call when they use a lousy ass motor to send the parcel. at least pos laju uses van and will hon, skynet guy will call, citylink is hopeless. kangaroo service in my area is ok though because they can deliver 2nd time on the same day as the 1st delivery.

citylink lost my rm1k msi gtx 480 graphic card. How about that. Now my case is under investigation, pending if can get full or partial compensation. Pending some more, nice try citylink.

huhu im about to change to citylink, but u say that...guess have to use kangaroo back...lost item much worst then delay...

Guess what guys, Citylink doesn't want to give me full compensation. instead they are giving me RM200 instead. my RM1000 down the drain, thanks to citylink.

Nah, I can't do much. I've already contacted the legal dept guy of citylink. and he said bcoz i didn't insured my package, so they can't do much. I swear that I will not deal with citylink in my whole life and I will also spread the message to everyone around me.

this is very bad news, for me i will neverever use CITYLINK service, my personal comment for them are "RUBBISH" thats all.

Noted, metatsu. Will let others know too. Personally I have bad experiences with Kangaroo as well. It appears Poslaju is the one which works the best for me, provided I follow their instructions on how to wrap and declare my items.

Kangaroo, on the other hand, managed to squash up my graphic card box once, and for the last time. Wonder how the hell they do it.

if youre sending to melaka then dont use citylink
they just hire one uncle as contractor and the poor guy has to travel till the sempadan of melaka and n9

just thought i put update on CITYLINK's service.

my stokist post the parcel on 1st Oct. until now (4th oct, 1:27pm) still nothing.
i tracked and it was with Shah Alam centre since late 2nd oct.

yeah i thought poslaju was lousy, this sure proof me wrong. poslaju only takes 1 day to reach

Agree! Just want to share what i'm facing when using citylink express

My goods was shipped on 20/11/2013 and get tracking no: 060307080259454 on that day. The seller is from Selangor and it ship to Penang.

Now is 29/11 and i haven't received my goods. I was called by citylink express staff on 27/11 morning and telling me that they will send me the goods by that day but they didn't turnout. I was waiting in my place the whole day.

I was called by citylink express again on 28th Nov and telling me that they will send me the goods on 29/11 and now is 5:20PM. I called in customer service on what time they will send to me. She can't answer me well and only tell me that will delivery today!! I need to sit in my place until tonight before 12 to wait for the goods!! UNTIL NOW I HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY GOODS.

This is the worst experience i ever had. It suppose to be an express delivery and it's more than 10 days since the goods was send out and i haven't received it.

i not suggest to use citylink express service. my goods was shipped by seller from pj on 12/1/2014 and i received item today 24/1/2014. 12 days to delivered item from pj to puchong ! already call their customer service but support like "SAMPAH". Finally i talk with their manager this morning around 10 am and i got the item at 11.15 am. I just give this currier 1/4 star.

customer service sucks ... called them up to ask for my parcel which I've waited for six days ... all they say is will send today ... and guess what!? it did not come ...

Pos Laju so far is the best courier in my opinion ...

yeah...just experienced it as well..a fellow forumer bought a game from me..i used city link to deliver the item...gave the parcel on the 1st of Aug..till today they have not delivered it yet.

Parcel sent out from KL on the 16th, on 19th noon, not any of my package arrive.
How difficult is to get my parcel from KL?
Other courier company can deliver right to your doorstep just the next business day!

City-Link Express should just remove the "Express". There is NO express at all and it's a SHAME to their courier business.

Make a point to the seller, it's a headache to buy from them if they send by City-Link.

Agreed with everyone. While GDex is consistent, Skynet is damn fast (although item box is damage, item is not damaged), City Link is horrible.

Look at the tracking below. Already reached Penang but keep on updating as Depart to Penang. The CityLink is just nearby. Very terrible.

Despite all the negative feedbacks from this thread, I received my parcel from city-link quite fast. the parcel arrived at kuching, sarawak 3 days ago, and were sent to my place the following day. But nobody was in the house at that time, so they left the yellow card note. And then only this morning I found the note! (it was hiding itself inside the letter box ) So i called city-link at 9am to ask for re-delivery, and the customer service girl said not sure when they going to re-deliver to me. Feeling anxious, I searched online about city-link and found this thread, and then i was like after reading the comments. But miracles happened.... I received it at 230pm!!!! I guess i was lucky after all...

My parcel has been held for almost 6 days already at their dataran city link. Not updated since the 4th. I try calling their customer service centre but no one answer. Can anybody help?

yesterday around 6pm i called HQ, at first i didnt meant to get angry but after waiting about 5minutes to get an answer from operator,
i lost my cool n not proud of it.
nway, after that around 7pm, they deliver to me using motorcycle.

I am having very bad bad experience with CityLink as well. I bought my items online and the seller assigned CityLink as the delivery courier.

The parcel able to reach my state - Penang, on 10 Feb 9.08am. However I waited for 2 days, but not getting any call from them.

I called them yesterday since morning until afternoon, but no people picked up my call. Able to reach them in my 9th call at 4pm.

But the employee told me that they have many pending parcels for delivery. I requested the estimation date for my parcel to be delivered, but that employee can't give me an answer.

She asked, "Do you want us to send parcel to you? Or you want to collect it yourself? If you want us to send to you, you have to wait (which date is undetermined). If you want to collect it yourself, please come asap, or else we will keep your parcel in store, and it would be harder for us to search back the parcel for you when you are here."

I feel disappointed and really can't accept the "reason" she provided for shipment delay. They should handle their resource management nicely if lack of delivery worker in their branch. Or else, they should remove out EXPRESS in their company name since it is such like MISSION IMPOSSIBLE for them to deliver customer parcel in short period.

Until today 13 Feb 9:07am, I still haven't receive any call from them, and I think I have to collect it myself during lunch time, which required me to travel from Bayan Lepas to PG town area to get it.

This is really too much and I will never use this shipment courier in rest of my life again.

Also, I would suggest seller NOT TO assign this courier again as the shipment issue might impact the customer's impression on company as well.

What I've experienced was the same. Have to pick up the parcel myself. Btw, they do open half day on Saturday.

Worst courier service ever. Even Pos Malaysia is more efficient than this lousy courier service. My item was kept in there dataran city link warehouse since the 4th. I called them everyday asking for my package and they always promise to deliver it the next day. A bunch of lies. I just called the seller asking them to deal with city link and I just found out they damaged my item. That is why they never bothered to deliver it to me. But instead of telling me about my damaged item, they preferred to keep me in the dark and lie to me that they will deliver it the next day.

After this, I swear to never use CityLink again. Worst customer service and slowest courier ever. How can they charge so much yet be slower than Pos Malaysia? Beware anyone using this courier.

This is a really STUPID service. I track my parcel, find out it's being held at Dataran because my address is 'invalid'.

BODOH, of course invalid! I stay in KL, apasal the package is being sent to the Dataran centre to deliver! Jenjarom is so damn far from Bangsar, genius!

Citylink absolutely useless!!! Totally and completely incompetent. Called to say they will deliver but no one came. Called them up make appoint for another day, same thing happened. What a fxxking useless bunch of morons. After 3 times, ask to go to their office to pick up. Told them to return the item back to the sender. Then today they came by... After 2 weeks!!!!! At least the courier knows how to use his phone to call this time. But dunno how to fxxking use door bell... Citylink is a big giant FAIL!!

And this was not the first time too... Online merchants... Please do not use this useless Citylink courier service. There are so many other courier services with very competitive pricing that employs smarter people and provide better services.

Their service all depends on area..some area good some area not...mostly staff problem...in my area Kota Damansara ...poslaju never failed me...gdex is totally sucks...skynet lost my friends lego...currently waiting for my citylink parcel..

any reason why people are still using other local delivery services instead of poslaju? I do not see the advantage of using them.

not that bad in my area, cheras selatan. Received in next day after collection from seller.

I could say Citylink as hauling company good, for their hub transport. Maybe they compete in same segment as KTM.
But their last mile boleh pigi mati masuk tong simen. Which effectively means for consumer, especially on receiving end, their service is sampah.

Ordered a camera lens from KLDSLR, a reputable camera seller.
I need to use it this Monday for my 1 week field job for my research project.
Living in Selangor in year 2018, it is totally reasonable to place order at Wednesday night, have your item shipped at Thursday and expect it to arrive in Friday.

Seller sent out item @Jan 11 5.20pm from Johor, arrive at Selangor hub @Jan 121am . Pretty good. Item start to deliver at 8am. But this is where it gets out from hub and the nightmare begin.



Jan 12:
-Morning. The tracker said the item is on courier for delivery. Wait until afternoon still not arrive. If this were GDEX or poslaju they should be on my doorstep around this time.
-4pm, call HQ, they said they prioritize office address first. But they promise me it will arrive by 7.30pm Alright; But having previous nightmares with this company, I proactively give them my phone number so they have no reason to screw up.
-I wait until 8pm also nothing. No parcel, no call, no update. Suddenly 9.40pm got that tracker update said they contacted me for reschedule as you can see above. Wut? Did they even try? Wtf driver? why you have to lie in parcel tracking?

Jan 13 (Today):
-I call them (HQ) at 9am right after they commence their Saturday business hour. I complain about yesterday, they said the driver didn't have my phone number. "Eh, I already gave my phone no. yesterday???".
"But there are no record of you contacted us yesterday" so she replied. hm........ ok nvm things got mixed up sometimes. Don't have high hope for them anyway.
-She said my parcel is now handled by saujana putra branch, but they promise my parcel will arrive by 4pm today.
-Having lost large chunk of my trust to them, I call Saujana Putra branch just to be sure. Complained about yesterday issue, she said "driver malas la tu.." Im speechless, but not totally surprised either.
-She then transfer my call to someone. .. .. .. no one pick up. The line timed out and disengaged.
My balls crinkled, turns blue and I died.

-As expected, 11.30pm still didn't receive my item.

Since I wont be home for the next whole week; By now, it is clear that I won't be getting my item until next of next Monday.
So, this Monday I will proceed to my field job without my camera.
Thanks Citylink, who need dslr when you have potato phone to take pics right?


I have contact the seller, asking them to retract the parcel, and resend it to me later using much trusted Poslaju.
Should I asked the seller to use poslaju from beginning, I would have been busy happily testing the lens now instead of crying here.

I bought stuff from Zalora.
and later was updated shipping via CityLink.
altho in their web only listed shipping via gdex, taqbin & ninjavan

track8ng status update now said delivered on last saturday.
i & family was home but no delivery attempt made, no call , nothing.
yet status is DELIVERED.
Receipient NULL.

already reach out to zalora & citylink.
apart from that, Any advise on what should i do?

I got my item (camera lens), but it doesn't end quite well for both me and seller.

After my last update I ask the seller to retract the item and use poslaju instead. Seller agree and contacted citylionk to return the parcel. I also call the center guy to mark the item for return. But after few days Citylink still not return the item to seller. The item stuck in whatever clusterfuck limbo they have in Citylink, leaving me and seller waiting.

After like 2 weeks(iinm) I need to travel to Johor for another field operation. Im getting really upset knowing I will miss the lens this time too., but luckily the seller was very responsible; They offered to send the item directly from their branch in Johor (Tampoi), or I just walk in and take. I opt for the latter.

During my journey to Johor Citylink called me if Im at home for parcel delivery. wtf? I told them the parcel was already requested for return. And I won't be home to receive it.

I finally got my lens in Johor (instead of Klang), but I feel really bad for the seller. I have ordered a discounted white box lens set, but I think they don't have such version in Johor Tampoi branch;
So they have to gave me the more expensive retail gold box, version instead. With no additional charges.
Well I took it as cost on their side for having bad courier partner.

On next day, still in Johor, Citylink called me if I'm at home so they can deliver my item. Again wtf? wtf? wtf???
I said im not in Selangor, and seller already request to return the item, and I already told them to return the item also. wtf citylink? I give them the seller's number so they could contact them directly.

So yeah. Got my item, but bad ending.
I missed my 1st site project, almost missed 2nd.
Seller have to foot the extra cost of giving me much expensive version of product than I oredered.

This is full tracking log. Highlighted lines are pure bullshit. Made up by delivery man that was too lazy to finish their shipment.

but you're still lucky because you got a responsible seller

i thought skynet is the most dysfunctional courier here

in the end it is still a good ending for you man, but sadly not the seller i think

but that seller got more customer from your rating and recomendation

i wonder if we can punish these type of courier..i have read in lazada, many iphone lost in transit, these are the new sealed phone, so becareful if buying iphone from so called apple official store in lazada

My experience with Citylink is horrible. I was intend to send some home items and basically Citylink rejects most of the items even those things seem quite safe due to their working relationship with DHL. DHL been always super sensitive on nearly all items inclusive my own face mask, some metal items such as tool box and the rest. They didn't contact me on the refund....

wow thanks for the info, never use dhl before, maybe dhl is sensitive due to internatioanl delivery, for local they should not be that sensitive

Bought tv online, seller shipped using Citylink.

Immediately searched all over internet on Citylink delivery feedback, all negative. Was worried sick.

However, seller posted on Friday from Ipoh, received Tuesday morning in Melaka (Monday was public holiday).

All good then. I guess all those negative feedbacks on the net are only from bad delivery as people won't give feedback when it's good.

Just found this thread. Guess it's my turn to get the share of City-Link lousy service.

Item has been out since 8am for delivery (in-transit) but still no sign of them coming. Where is this "Dataran Citylink" anyway?

Outside KL is ok I think. Problem would be in KL & developed area in Selangor due to road congestion.

12 years later... they are still shiet.. now they dont even bother to pick up phone. Please close down citylink
