Yes, he is.

Bleed is unfortunate to be grouped into the so-called Group of Death with Darkxiao, Lawrence (Lorento? from Summit), N2Ko (from 1U), Soul-x. So many geng players in one group shocking.gif shocking.gif

Goodluck to KIBA - but there is something we all should learn...sorry that I couldnt be there that dayasI was sick.

However, If I was there, I would have disqualify Kiba...

Please guys...lets learn something from here...Kiba was shouting Im not going to HK while playing actually is taunting his opponent. We should not have such attitude in a tourney. this is the first time Kiba represent Malaysia and I think its ok for the first time. Everyone deserve the second chance.

Kiba indeed played well. It just some adjustment while playing...so hope Kiba can grow more mature when he gets back.

GOOD LUCK KIBA and may you bring TEKKEN 6 THROPHY back to Malaysia...

NEXT TOURNEY- SEREMBAN JUSCO SONY STYLE...12th December 2009...come next week to take part as we giving away ps3...KIBA not here so its for you guys !!! HAHAAH

Can i comment a bit?

I think this tournament did not receive the publicity it deserves. Not many people know about this tourney and only those that checked the forum often know of this. I am thinking maybe we should have:
1. put posters in big arcades across Malaysia to cover arcade players.
2. ask Sony to help send to all Malaysia PSN users to cover for console players.

We have many Penang players not coming to the tournament and they are very strong there. So, to held this event in KL alone is not really representing whole Malaysia.

If future tourneys to find Malaysia champion, maybe we can have a format like these?

1. One tourney in Northern , Klang Valley, Southern and Sabah/Sarawak area?
2. 4 persons of each area meet up in KL for Finals?

That would at least give chances to all Malaysians, rite?

Of cos, this is all depending on the management and the sponsors tongue.gif

just my 2 cents here.

yeah i do agree with u. i ask some friends and they say....huh, when, what?
anyway, i am happy Kiba won. he won in our place and he won again.
honestly i thought the top few that played in our mini tournament were quite close standard but it is only my personal opinion.
all the best to future competitions

ive to agree with LSD alan. there are many tekken players out there that didnt know about the tourney. but the way the tourney was handled was pretty much smooth. i mean far better than the one held previously in BSC by another organizer. i am satisfied because joystick was allowed. that's how fighting tournament should've been played. by the way, the number of participants who entered almost reached 50 if im not mistaken. 30 the first day, 17 the next day.
again, well done alan, and i do hope future toruneys (seremban...heheh) will follow universal tekken format, which is a 3 on 3 battle.ask any tekken players, that's how tekken is played in tourneys.

It is ok if team matches, but the prize will be a problem. unless the sponsors will cough up 3 PS3 slim as prizes for 1st prize (assuming you have a 3 players in a team), and 3 of everything for other prizes, this will not happens.

I am ok with the format played on last Saturday and Sunday's tourney. Group matches where the 2 players with highest points proceed to knock out stage. Knock out stage: 3 games of 3 out of 5 rounds, where losers are allowed to change characters. Because of this format, we get to see some amazing comebacks by some of the contestants by just changing characters.

P/S: I do enjoy myself although i got thrashed badly sweat.gif

Tim, i think he might be put off by the initial statement of no joystick allowed, which is why he didn't turn out. But we all do know the ruling is relaxed after that with joystick allowed during qtr final.

But in truth, sticks or pads just need to be allowed, fair for all. Whoever said pad users are at a disadvantage, well, we have n2Ko and Gostan man still pawn people with PS3 pads notworthy.gif notworthy.gif So, it is all excuses only if cannot win biggrin.gif

ok man i am easy but i feel discomfort for the volunteers from lowyat and gamerzunite who came to help us out. simply an unfair statement. anyway, we had 70 plus people who registered but 32 showed up. and we only had a span of about 8 days to put things together. maybe it was free, so people didnt take this mini competitions seriously.
anyway, what was the champion prize, runner and 1st runner up?

mr arjunawong. i was there.im a heavy arcade player and the same goes to T6 coz i dont owe a ps3.so the only way i can play T6 is by using stick. and your previous rules in the knockout stage which was no sticks allowed was a disadvantage to me, and to other stick players. you can go on about go practice and so on, but how am i to do that when i dont even owe a ps3? does that make sense?

it doesnt matter if i got trashed badly or won victoriously. as long as i can go all out using the way that i know when playing tekken. im pretty sure players will not have this sense of fulfillment if they lost due to a restriction which was not even supposed to be there.

but hey, rules are rules. im no organizer myself, but i know what players want since i am a player myself. at least i know i can never play on a pad, and i dont think i can ever enter a tourney, of any fighting games, which only allow pads.

and regarding soul-x's comment, yeah, i agree about the prize. that one can kawtim later.
